@frankiecorado7951 awesome question! Disc & Mesh filters are not able to remove soluble Iron from water. Filters like this are only able to trap debris particles. Any iron particles that are lose in the water will be caught in the filter, however, any iron that is dissolved in the water will pass through. Iron should be treated using an acid injection system, and depending on the type of irrigation controller, you can program the injector to only operate/inject acid on specific zones that are watering hard surfaces. - Andy
