How is the gym leaders being stronger then the elite four “too op”? If you beat the elite four then it only makes sense that the next challenge is stronger.
I've only played a little bit of this hack and I did find it very well made, but it is hard for me not to prefer Polished Crystal after they put out the 9bit beta. It has so many modern features and new content. Crystal Legacy is definitely better if you want that more traditional gen 2 experience.
10/10 romhack I finished a run in v1.1 of this hack, wonderful, I used every pokemon i ever wanted to use but couldnt because they were terrible (sneasel, misdreavus, heracross) or because i couldnt find them early enough (slowking) Now im doing another one in v1.2 which adds a ton of stuff: mainly a hard mode and a pokedex that display the moveset, learnset and tmset of each pokemon (the pokedex is now USEFUL, i dont have to look up anything online). Im using the top tier pokemon this time (tyranitar, gengar, starmie, etc) so i can tackle this challenge with preparation. Feels good giving ampharos a break this time. Im looking forward to version 2.0 that totally revamps and remakes the kanto part of this game.
