​@pokemontas8025 those are usually not made by the real rom creator and they dont benefit from those sales at all. Youre better off just getting a flash cart and loading the rom onto it

Do you think this is better than og games, this approach i mean?? Would you say it has more potential? I feel it sounds cool, but in actuality it kind of doesnt work with pokemon formula...Linearity is simply the way the game should work i guess... Maybe i am at wrong here, did nit try it to be honest... What would you rate gen 2 on a scale from 1-10 and crystal clear mod? I feel that gen 2 is the best gen in my opinion...It really feels awesome, and beats other gen fir me, even 3rd and 4th as well...But yeah, open world??! Hard to imagine it can actually work

@@stfustfu7765Try it to make your own opinion but personnally I totally loved it, it’s différent, hard to say if it is better, but mods in general fix some defaults from the og games, like physic/ special moves, more available Pokemon… This one works very well, I mean it’s different and very refreshing, according to your tastes you’ll see

@@x.raycat It's not like cheating. You can do the gyms in any order and depending on what order you do them in the levels scale appropriately. It's really cool I've played through it. Once you finish the game you can play any gym at any level. So you could challenge Brock, or Falkner as if they were the 16th badge level challenge.

@@sloppyslush9858it’s a boxy pixel sp unhinged. You buy the boxy pixel case and take the regular SP and swap the shell. You can do it yourself or buy them from people who sell them. They aren’t cheap

There's a mod called Crystal Clear where you can start in either region, collect all 16 badges in whatever order you like, and a progressive leveling system based on the amount of badges you have. It's one of my all-time favorites

I don't think it's widely available as it's a rom hack. The rom is available online so you can play on emulator but not sure how they got a physical copy@@quintinsmith8499

GBC Gen 2? Hell naw. If you're talking about DS Gen 2 which is HGSS then obviously yes.

I agree, gen 2 has a lot of charm but frlg look a little too clean and almost sterile looking by comparison

@@BlastizorLol it’s funny how different our opinions are. I think FRLG has by far the worst aesthetic, both Gen 4 and Gen 2 being better. Gen 2 not by a lot, but I find it more charming. And the animated sprites in Crystal can’t be beat.
