this is the most informative video I have ever seen about this whole thing. I pretty much knew a lot of it but you still made it easy to watch haha. And I never really thought about running a lower level Countdown just for stuff to break down. I mean I think the loot is actually better in Heroic if you actually need something that has good stats but for breaking stuff down the lower level is smart. Great video

Also, if you’re a lower SHD level (below 1800) make sure all additional character slots are utilized at all times so that you earn passive shd points on all characters as u level up. Then run resource convoys with directives to build your shd level. Then run wony a couple times for bigger hauls
I just wear all items, brands, sets and weapons that need Proficiency and switch them after they got level10/proficient. I speedfarm the open world and summit on normal and feel that's way more.."efficient". Even if it is not: leveling by playing and freeroaming is way more fun than all the other techniques, but hats just my opinion!
Expertise is a total waste of our time and should be abolished. Mine was on 13 they did some server maintenance and it took 3 level-ups backwoods which means all the grinding I did had been erased. I've spoken to players who have lost 8 level-ups compared to mine was nothing. It's been a cock-up from day one.
This is good advice, but in the end this is a huge grind. I have just been donating as I go, haven't focused farmed like what he did. Just personal preference. I am only expertise 14 currently. The skills and exotics are holding me back right now. The other thing to mention is you can get to 21 proficiency, but you need a ton of exotic components to actually level up a weapon to that level.
Hi, just tuned in. My issue is farming exotic components to level up my expertise. I am at expertise level 16, and I can't level up anything to that level until I get "a boatload" of exotic components. I have a ton of everything else. At present, I run countdown on challenge, open world on heroic with directives; control points, convoys, bounties, etc.,,,any and everything, and 10th floor in the summit. I suck at PVP (still trying to put a decent build together that works for me), so I don't run the DZ without friends, which doesn't happen very often. Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated! The single best way to get the exotic components is running in the dz and opening the chests in there there are chests that have like a 50% chance every time you open them to just straight up give you exotic components I’ll make a video in the future for routes
How high does expertise go? I made my items proficient and now nothing will go higher. My one piece of gear has expertise on armor but it's 1% and won't go higher. What am I missing?
Expertise goes up to like 22 or so but yeah you have to level up the expertise in overall otherwise you can only level a weapon up to whatever your overall expertise is
💀. Seen this many times click baiting. Most simple way is to get to 14 for your gear you can donate to level up. After that depending on your level go do newyork runs for printer filaments for named, exotics, skill items. Simple to it.

@@I-Holy.Knight-I no once the specific item gets to proficiency rank 10 it stops adding points towards your expertise. The only way to get max level of expertise is by getting everything in the game to proficiency rank 10 ie weapons, armor, skills, and specializations
It's not a particularly useful rifle (especially for an exotic), but if you need it the best way - IMO - is to farm Legendary Summit, it's considerably easier than farming actual strongholds or the DZ. Find yourself on any dozen-floor (10, 20, 30, 40 etc), eliminate the named enemy without eliminating the others, get the dropped items and then quickly return to the foyer via the map. You can then rinse and repeat the process until you get it! I did it myself a short while ago and it took me, if I recall right, around 15 runs like that until I got it. This generally lines up with its drop rate, which is reported to be 5% from any Legendary difficulty boss (named enemy). The build I used was a simple drone-turret skill damage build, it's the best if you're doing it solo

@@rubenhargis5454 It doesn't matter how you get to floor 10 since you're specifically farming the named enemy on floor 10, until then you can easily play on like Normal just to get there faster.
For the first 15 expertise levels, it takes 200 proficiency levels for 1 expertise. If you look in the upper left corner of the expertise menu at the optimization bench, you’ll see your level and underneath the amt of proficiency needed
@@jonathonthompson8538 Whatever the expertise level cap is, divide it by 10 and that’s how many items need to be proficient. But for expertise leveling, I look at it collectively. As long as you keep the proficiency levels flowing , you’ll level up expertise. As you near level 20, more items will naturally become proficient
@@jonathonthompson8538 yea, you can actually see it on his screen written small, underneath his expertise level. When you go to the expertise section at the recalibration station, you,ll see your expertise level and underneath it will say (for example) 15/200

It really is pointless. I don't even want to play anymore I rather sell my ps4 for a ps2 just to play my old madden games and ncaa and nba etc... tired of this pointless grind and stupud seasons. You are forced to get exotics and I don't need nor want them I prefer the standard weapons not that extra crap.
The problem with these expertise and leveling up it takes too long and tbh it gets repetitive and boring. I love division but i find myself not playing simply because of this. Its no longer a game but a job even when i take weeks off of playing. 5 min in and im bored. Sad to say i think im done with division
game is completely broken....i hit square button to donate junk and nothing happens and shit gear i marked as junk just stays in my inventory as junk...fcking game is dead!!...unless im doing something wrong lol
