I haven't been this excited about a game since PUBG was in early access in Spring 2017! Stopped playing that POS game a long time ago. ROE also got me back to watching Aculite again!
I kept watching because it was fun to only live through the highlights of PUBG instead of the glitchy cheaty grind. This game is a ton of fun with nearly zero pain points.
Well, technically in the trailer the "helicopter pilot" mentions he rescued some people before the timeline of this game's match, so its accurate if the news said that few people survived
>could've easily killed everyone else in the game most likely camping heli. >escapes giving other a chance. >they all died anyways because end game meta is a little outta whack. good guy Aculite.
No, just shows people are dicks. I always let people climb if there is room for everyone. Even if it's a 1v1, with 2 seats left, I won't shoot someone, but they will ALWAYS shoot me. Children.
To be fair, most people want to eliminate the others because you don't know if those other people would be as kind as you and realize that all can win. Since there are no real means of communication between competitors, you just gotta play it safe and eliminate all threats until it is safe for you to board without getting shot in the back. Maybe if you were to shoot a melody you could get the enemy players to realize you have good intentions? If they hear a gun shot melody and reply with a melody of their own, it could be a sign of truce. Apart from that there is no real option besides killing everyone in your path.
In the first minute when the Ymir hits (or the Volcanic Ash on the Europa Island map currently), it is a viable alternative. But once the damage per second of the storm (or ash) ramps up, killing the others has its benefits in the form of adrenaline rush. I played clutch games wherein I run out of meds and just go wild killing who I can. That adrenaline rush may give you time to climb that chopper successfully.
A very valuable lesson can be learned from the end. There were 3 left, and 3 spots on the helicopter. But everyone wanted to be the only one so bad that no one survived...
Me and my buddies have been smashing this game non stop for the last month, and i must say it is awesome, we (i) have bagged wins on solo/duos, the dev team are all over it as far as updates go etc, its plays really smooth. They have come along way. Id highly recommend it, and its FREE !!! Its games like this that you would pay money for. No BS micro transactions !! Just good ol gaming fun !!
DEVs develop, publishers release. Initially this game wasn't even on Steam and was only available through the "asian steam", if I may call it so. Watch Aculite's first video of RoE, you'll understand.
This game can be very cpu heavy, so you have to actually turn you graphics up a bit to put some load on your gpu. It might even help if you have a lower end gpu that runs at a high load than like a rtx 2080ti that runs at half it's power due to poor optimization.......?
@@LegendaryNuggets I think he means why not just hold a truce and have EVERYONE win instead of killing each other needlessly (when 4 people or less are left)
Classic Prisoners dilemma, its better for everyone if no one shoots in that situation, but since you cant be sure no one shoots, you have to shoot everyone, and everyone else has to too. (or does, because thats the best possibility for them.)
Aculite man I love your content, you're a freaking beast. Keep up the great work, I get hours upon hours of enjoyment, happiness and so much fun watching your videos.
Even though movement was a bit janky, ROE definitely gave me the most fun i ever had in a BR game to this day. Awesome game, wish the developers listened to their playerbase back in the day.
cheapass motherfuckers wants kills rather than win the game together. Just a few days ago in duos when there were only 4 people alive, 2 guys came running at us without weapons so me and my friend dropped ours as well and all 4 of us won the game in duos haha!
"what do you mean backpack is full?" >250 rounds of 9mm Nah seriously, good plays. I wish i could run this ever since it hit steam, but I think my fx8350 doesn't get along with it so I'll live vicariously through you for now.
Imagine this scenario: 60 random internet players are released in a battle arena Everyone kill each other for 10-15 minutes without hesitation Do you trust said random strangers - turned into killing machines equipped with heavy weaponry - to not shoot you in the back just because the heli has space for those left? *Hells no!*
@@nikosrnec There is a big difference between not rewarding for killing, and penalizing for killing. And this is not really about the game and how its designed, it's more about how people typically default to shoot others on sight instead of sharing a mutual win. The goal in a BR game is to win, killing others is just like an optional side quest in an rpg.
@@nikosrnec You get a lot more points for your effort if you go for the win, rather than just getting kills. Again, kills are like side quests, they add to your score, but it's not the end goal. Otherwise you might as well play any random deathmatch game. You can kill many people and still not win, but you can win without killing anyone. See the difference? So many people tunnel vision on killing others, to the point where the focus on killing often hinders people from escaping to the safe zone in time and dying to the storm.
Just thought to myself: "If only Aculite could upload more RoE gameplay, that would be so cool..." *sees new youtube notification* This really made my day!
I, from now on am looking for your name in the top right forever and ever so I can potentially be in your video for about 2 seconds. This is really cool. Love your vids, keep it up. Just subbed
I feel like the four seats on the helicopter should lead some real cool emergent gameplay where people join up together as impromptu squads via open mic in 2s / solos, but it never seems to happen - Everyone still seems to be stuck in last man standing mode.
@Vladimir Putin I feel so lucky I never heard of ROE before it was actually live here in Europe. Have been binge gaming it like crazy since then, it springs so much fresh air into the battle royale genre. Can't believe it's ftp, and it seems very well optimized and I rarely encounter bugs/glitches. So far so good, hopes are high.
What do you meam backpack is full? *While carrying over 200 9mm ammo* The glidder pack as the lowest carrying capacity. I find that 3 extra clips of smg is the best balance.
i gotta say i am here just blown away and want to know how u locate ppl so fast is it a good headset that does that or u are just guud ... btw this game is way better than PUBG and i have em both on my steam.....
Aculite for the love of god please just take out the weapon you want to switch and right click. RIGHT CLICK EVERYTHING ITS SO MUCH FASTER IN THIS GAME PLEASE CONNOR PLEASE
Don’t know why i get low fps like 40-50 when i have a setup which is way above the recommended setup. Anyways its always fun to watch aculite play any game. He is simply just so good.
