I tried this ... it was great... even my husband who does not like baked chicken liked it. 👍👍 (I didn't have the bouillon cubes and onion and garlic powder so i added some fresh garlic and onion inside the chicken and in the liquid and I baked at 425 for 70 minutes). Moist and flavourful... Yumm yumm. Thank you.

Made a gravy using the slurry/pan drippings. Used a teaspoon of gravy master and whisked in a tablespoon of flour. Let it cook for a couple of minutes until thicken to my liking. It was thee best gravy!
Omg! Thank you for this recipe, Jay! I just made it and it is absolutely delicious! The meat was tender, juicy and flavorful. I followed step by step. My only concern, initially was that you didn't season the vegetables, so I didn't. I trusted the process. I'm glad I did because the gravy and residual pan juices seasoned them perfectly. I didn't have apple vinegar so i just use regular white actually taste amazing like you could taste it but not in bad way it just fit right in like wow it was so good i made my first whole chicken all by myself with you philly boy it was great thanks so much you kept it simple and sweet wonderful job!

All of his recipes are delicious I've tried a lot of them and it came out perfect just the way he makes them, I've even tried a little sugar in my mac n cheese and he was right it didn't make it sweet it came out creamy cheesy and delicious. Thanks, PBJ.

Making this tonight. I used a Bourbon BBQ seasoning as the dry rub. And i didnt have any vinegar, so i used italian dressing... I sure hope its good. Thanks for sharing.
I took a 8 lb chicken out of the freezer this morning I'm doing this tomorrow I prepared the spice and herb mix . That will be applied in morning .I'll cook it mid after noon . In addition to your veggie assortment I'm adding a couple of cubed yams and a couple of sweet potatoe into one corner of roasting pan .

I was brining turkey but I left it brining for, nearly 3 days. It was total accident but when I cooked omg?!?! Its the juicest turkey I've ever had. Its fricking awsome!!
