Great review - just ordered a 5’6”!

Love it. Have the 5'1. Just did a trial pack. Got my 4'10 wing board (in its day bag), 94cm kite foil board, 2 large axis front wings, 75cm aluminum mast. Weight came to 18kg. I found using shoulder strap right over my opposite shoulder and forearm through side handle makes it very easy to carry without twisting my back or putting stress on any one attachment point of bag. The only thing I am going to change is one of inner pockets of foil storage. There is one long pocket that fits up to around an 1100 span high aspect. Right under is same storage but stiched in middle to make two pockets. Probably to accomodate small fronts or stabs. I'm going to remove the stitching so another wide span front wing or mast will fit there. Super happy with this thing, my first time travelling with wing gear and I didn't know how I was going to do it without paying big bucks for oversize. My only complaint is the little cinch straps for the fuse. My Axis fuse is quite wide at one end. Cinch strap isn't quite big enough. No biggie though I will likely pack fuse in my regular luggage anyway. Thanks for great video again Tucker. Always super helpful.

It’s cool, but it’s missing backpack straps in my opinion. Detachable wheels module would be great!

Take my money 💰 i have a sky wing 4'8 and 4'7, looking for airline travel with 2 wings too, is the 5'1 going to be good enough? I always prefer as compact as possible.

Awesome review, thanks Tucker! Would you recommend the 5’1 or the 5’6 to pack a single 5’0 x26”board with 2-3 wings and foil gear?

@MACkiteboarding 2 года назад
If you are using it as a day bag, the 5'1 should be sufficient. If traveling via air or train... I'd go for the 5'6 so you have room to pad the board properly to protect it. They aren't known for their gentle handling. -Tucker

@@MACkiteboarding what about a 5"0x23" with 2 hand wings + 2 foil front wings - would you still recommend the 5"6 over the 5"1 ? Cheers.
@MACkiteboarding
@MACkiteboarding Год назад
@@tom-foil Yes, still 5'6. Always better to have a little more space to pad the contents and not stress the bag. -Tucker

hey mate, nice bag! Wich size you would recommend for a 5.8 quatro wing drifter? Also go with 6.1? Thanks
@MACkiteboarding
@MACkiteboarding 2 года назад
Yes, the 6.1 would be best. It might fit in the 5'6 but it would pucker the bag and not protect it as well. -Tucker

does the current version still have the sinch down straps as the photos online don't seem to show these that you show in your video.

great review of the bag, which bag size would you recommend for a 5'4" board? Thanks
@MACkiteboarding
@MACkiteboarding 2 года назад
I'd go 5'6 for a snug fit with some padding but if you can go 6'1 you'll have more room to pad the nose/tail for airline travel. Never hurts to be extra careful since you don't know what joker will be tossing (literally) your bags around. -Tucker

How much do these bags weigh at each size? No specs online - even from the manufacturer AFAICT.

I have the 6'1 and the pockets inside the inner bag are way too small for a regular foil
@MACkiteboarding
@MACkiteboarding Год назад
Yes, the pockets are meant for other items like hardware, wrenches, or fuselage. -Tucker

For sure Noah, if you have any questions just let me know. tucker@mackite.com I've been riding it for a couple of months and really liking it. Solid board for a good price. I'll have a formal review video posting in 5-6 weeks - Tucker
