I have been wearing my Keen steel toe boots for about 4 years now from North 40. Had the lace eyes replaced a year ago and used e6000 glue to fix a broken seam. These have been the best pair of boots I’ve ever owned so far, but they won’t last forever. The chance to own a pair of Nicks custom boots would be a game changer I’m sure. His business is just down the road from my current job site on Market in Spokane. Tim please put in a good word for me ok? This is amazing, Thanks for the opportunity!! I have been looking into Nicks boots for a while and really want to try a pair of these. I am not a framer, but a lineman. I wear wedge sole moc toe boots very often with the exception of when I need to climb a pole. I love that this pair of boots has a slip resistant sole which would make it great for the work I do for everything except climbing! Great looking boot you guys came up with!! 👍👍🤞🤞

It’s hard to beat the timeless look and solid construction of a moc toe boot. Living in the rural PNW requires a set of hard working boots, always has been that way. I think that’s why we’re so blessed with brands like Nicks who have established themselves here to fuel that very need. A machine couldn’t possibly craft a boot that’d do the trick because a machine doesn’t understand the work that shoe is about to be put through like a PNW artisan boot maker does. The quality is in the water we drink, the dirt we walk on, and in the trees that surround us. Working in rural land conservation takes a serious pair of boots in the Columbia Gorge area, and these are those boots. I see no better fitting boots for that job than a pair crafted in our very PNW country; in order to conserve this PNW culture that we’ve grown to love, we must use that culture. I would love the opportunity to wear these Mocs and help fuel the supply for your trade. Cheers brother 🙌

I love this collaboration! I’ve been excitingly yet patiently waiting for this release of this boot to come out. I wear wedge sole boot currently and they are great for walking walls but like you said they just need a little more grip especially in winter 😂 congrats to the winner of these boots!

I've followed you on instagram for a while, but I never realized you were that close! I'm over here in North Idaho (2hrs north east of Spokane) and I've been working with a small time builder for about 4 years now. Love your content and have to say I've learned quite a bit from your reels on Instagram. Ok, here's my shot at the give away, in my 4 years of construction I've never owned a new pair of boots. I started in my standard issue combat boots, then I moved to a pair of hiking boots from a garage sale and now I'm wearing my boss's old Carhartt boots. Well NOW I'm wearing muck boots because it's mud and snow season but even those are hand-me-downs from the boss man. Anyway, that's enough about me. Love your content.

I really dig these boots! For the last ten years, I've also been framing in Washington and have been wearing the classic 875 mock toe from Redwing because a new boot should feel like a new baseball glove! They are expensive and my budget is tight but I was told by a wise man to invest in a good bed and a good pair of boots because if your not in one your in the other! As stubborn as I am with boots I've noticed that red wing has maybe lost their quality over time yet has the same price. This is the first time I've entered one of your contests but out of all of them I have seen I really would like to win this one. I'm recovering financially after Christmas and buying new tools for a project so I can't go out and buy a pair as of now but if my eyes and ears are not deceiving me, I'm thinking that this might be the next boot I buy year after year! Love this Collab! Amazing boot, I would love to rock these in the construction world and see how they work as we know they will hold up and work regarding the hybrid sole. I typically wear a wedge sole or a split sole depending on work being completed so these would be the middle ground and quite possibly a game changer!

Been following you for about a year now and love your content! I do everything from the foundation to framing to siding to finish work and sidewalks and patios building custom homes and remodels! As a framer in the northeast dealing with a lot of the same weather conditions you guys deal with in the PNW I can’t wait for these boots! I have been dying for a pair of Nick's for a couple of years....but I'm entering the drawing for my neighbor. He's a steel stud framer and his boots have taken a beating to the point of having holes in the sides and soles worn down to the welt. I got rid of Instagram (my resolution for less screen time) but I am so excited for this! I have done general carpentry throughout college and I continue to do it while teaching high school part time, and I personally rip through mass produced boots. I’m a contractor in Tennessee, I have not worn lace ups for years. I wear slip on boots (annoying once in a while), but they are light. I will have to look into these, there are a couple aspects to them that peak my interest. Hey, I know this is a total shot in the dark, I know your post says US only, I love in Kamloops British Columbia, im in my first year of carpentry working as a framer for a company named JUL Construction, I have had the same pair of boots for 6 years, and let me tell you they are not meant for weathered jobs, the bottom of my boot is coming off, so they are in fact 100%, completely not waterproof. Im working out of town right now, and living with our crew, there's 7 guys and I told them I would wear these boots until they fall off, but considering we all watch your videos and they introduced me to you as soon as I started with them a few months ago and I've seen all your videos learning and applying skills I've seen from you on the job site, so, with all the guys being fans of you and what you teach, I think they as well would make the exception that these boots don't literally have to fall off my feet. I've done all the steps for the giveaway, I completely understand if it's out of your control and I understand the guide lines, thank you for your consideration

@@haydenlanger3281 trench foot is no good. If you have two pairs of boots then you can let one pair dry while you wear the other pair. Search for a "peets boots dryer," they are worth the money. If you don't have a dryer you can ball up some newspaper and stuff it in your boots when you get home, the newspaper will soak up a lot of the moisture. Also if you slather your boots in something like "Hubert's boot grease" you can make them more water resistant. My last tip is to buy a pair of insulated CSA rubber boots for rainy days in winter time.

There is a story of butchers, that a good butcher sharpens his knife yearly, a moderate one monthly, but one who knows the way may go decades between sharpening.. good pnw made shoes may keep a wood butcher going the right way😉

I am young apprentice carpenter/welder. I am still learning how to be a better carpenter. I want the pair of wood butchers so I can focus on learning and working instead of worrying about my feet hurting or because of my cheap worn out boots. I have been saving for a pair of Nick's but it's been a very slow winter. I want to put them to use in the field. They are wood butchers so they should be put to use by a young wood butcher.

Handsome looking boots. Even though I’m currently an industrial electrician. My very first job in the summer of seventh grade, was being a laborer for my oldest brothers rough framing crew. I could use a new pair of boots!. Been a diehard redwing guy but my last pair was not up to snuff and I am looking for a different brand! These look like they could fit the bill!
