The Best (& Worst) Interlocking Tattoos | Ink Master 

I'm getting kind of tired of the reoccurring criticism that "you should have gone softer because it's a lady". Maybe the lady didn't want anything soft?? How is that a legitimate criticism? If it's not an issue with technique, placement, saturation etc. I don't want to hear it, the gender of the canvas shouldn't matter in that way. If the canvas doesn't have an issue with it, it shouldn't matter in the judging.

Hate to admit how hard I laughed at 10:35 where Cris said he didn't want the two warriors battling over ownership of the asscrack of the canvas. Haha he saw it in a way I wouldn't have until it was too late.

It is crazy how frequently they will show a tattoo and I’ll be like “wow that tattoo is amazing, I love it” and the first thing the judges will say is “this is the worst tattoo I have ever seen, completely irredeemable”.

Calling it “head to head” seems like a lost opportunity to cheek to cheek

can you imagine being a canvas and watching this later for the judges to tell you that the tattoo was poorly done

Oliver Peck's disdain of women really comes through loud and clear in retrospect. I'm not at all surprised that he harassed the female assistants on the show and then called them filthy names when he lost his temper. The sad thing is, that's not even what got him fired. Still --- good riddance.

Julie's voice drives me insane! She talks normal and then turns around and talks like a baby

What I have a problem with is when artists try to defame and tear down other artists' work instead of defending their own work. That's just shity

Cleen and Eric were very proffesional and smart to work together. Also, by working together they put the client first. I'd trust them over the others.

Never felt a gratification as intense on seeing Julia getting disqualified. Worst and Most Rude Contender of All Time, definitely someone who doesn't deserve to be called InkMaster

“Nobody’s eyes look exactly the same” “It doesn’t matter.” Honestly that pissed me off. Josh was an insufferable know it all but he made a very strong point. Anatomically symmetry is very rare, so to me it added realism to it that I actually didn’t mind. I think the judge was just being overly picky.

The judges being obsessed with perfection and evenness when it comes to portraits scares me, everyone doesn’t have a perfect face, one half always looks different than the other. The judges seem to not understand that or facial anatomy almost at all.

I like this show but ugh, I hate Julia's fake baby voice.

As a artist, hearing these judges speak down to these tattoo artist, and overly exaggerate small issues, make unnecessary remarks, add to obviously heated moments between two people, makes it so hard to watch! These judges really need to know the difference between constructive criticism and just bashing people down. Along side the terrible editing of the series and the needless drama, this show just isn't good for any artist to ever go on to and "Compete" or watch in your free time, ever!

During all years Ink Master been airing, time after time, I see that, when the judges choose between a man or a woman, regardless how treppid or horrid the tattoe the man did, like in this case the ink blob with no face, its always the woman that gets sent home, even though the tattoed folks already chosen what they consider the worst tatto. It drives me up the wall as it is time and time again in so many of the programs during the years. Women are always booted off first. Not sure if they are aware they are doing this but if we watched back every program its clearly noticable. Maybe they should change the panel and the tatto artists a bit more. Why don't you have a woman on the judging panel for intsance? Change the panel up that would be advisable and have two men and two women. It has become so repetitive and same same. x

I like how the judges make the artists follow the rules but when it comes to the judges they pick and choose when to follow em themselves. Lol

Ya know strangely enough I liked Don and Mark's boat designs, the clouds were different enough to read like purposeful asymmetry and the theme and waves made it one piece. I wouldn't mind that detail tbh

I can't believe it's been around 35 years since my first tattoo. I got butchered at Singapore John's in San Antonio TX! I completely understand why that shop closed a few years later. There is NO artist out there that could repair the crap I'm forced to hide every day! Be careful on first tattoos...

Nikki, it wasn’t about “dumbing yourself down”. It was about communicating efficiently with your teammates so that you all could create tattoos that possessed each of your skills.

I have to say Josh's space butt tattoo was actually quite beautiful and well done. Wouldn't mind adding something like that to my collection. I'm also glad Julia was sent home. She was just so annoying, and was always putting the blame on someone else like her canvas or other competitors.

I love the debate over the dark interlocking tattoo. He had a great point that no eyes are the same, and the one jackass judge was like “well it doesn’t matter” lmfao

I'm rather disgusted by the cheer toxic attitude that some of the tattoo artists have. They might be good on what they do but with that attitude and hostility towards one another with the teaming up challenges.... teaming up skills and toxic attitude should be criterias to kick people out.

Dave’s “Just based on overall readability” means “I don’t like to get into the nitty gritty of the tattoos so whichever one looks best”. I’ll respect it tho because I have no clue what the other two are talking about and just like the look of some tattoos lol

I think ALL judging should be blind, these judges make it real clear when they have favorites. Sometimes these tattoos look horrible and they still get the win because of who did them.
