The thing I hated about the Milani tubing mascara is that the formula is ridiculously wet. It took forever to dry. I tried pumping the wand several times in order to get it to dry out some, but that didn't work. After a few weeks, I exchanged it for the Tarte tubing mascara that I love.
I was in the same boat as you, but my latest tarte tubing mascara was soooo wet and gloopy. It's my 4th or 5th one so I'm pretty familiar with the formula...I thought. Did you notice a change?
I heard the same reviews that the formula was too wet and took forever to dry, and I bought the elf lash and roll and probably you'll like it gvies a simple beautiful lash look without the wetness and awful drying time.
@@chamorrojen1905someone said they bought the mini and recommended it to everyone but to buy the full and her people who bought it said it was awful so she went and bought the full and she agreeed. The formula was a lot different from the mini to the full. :/
I loooove the NYX Fat Oil Lip Drip in the darkest brown shade - it's so nice for a sheer dark colour that can be built up and is super flattering!! And the formula is so thick, glossy and moisturizing
The essence concealer is actually my favorite discovery this year and I LOVE IT on my skin! It’s not drying for me and actually smooths and looks beautiful even on my under eyes. So crazy how products work differently on everyone
U can get a whole bottle of blue pigment from la color for about 5 dollars if u dont wanna use a color correcting concealer....its super easy..,i use one half pump to any founduthats too dark/warm
Do you mean LA Girl? LA Girl has 1oz color correcting pigments in blue, white, yellow, and I believe an “orange” too (but it looks more brown). I’ve gone through like 4 bottles of the blue throughout the years. I love that stuff!
Thanks for the tip with the blue colour corrector. I have more cool toned skin and I find so many foundations run orange on me, I bought new foundations from Charlotte Tilbery, Hourglass and Nars in the last year and love the finish but find the shades all are too warm. I might try the blue trick
Do you feel like any of the shades are Nars Orgasm ish?? Mine is so ancient and so tried out and I'm pining for a new one but want to see if I could save some coin. And I adamantly disagree with anyone who thinks Luminouso is a dupe. Too peachy not enough pink in the base, etc aanyywayyy lol. I have only tried essence mascara so I'm curious. Never tried Catrice either.
@@playingtime24 I haven’t bought the Nats blush in so long so I can’t really go on memory. The Essence colour I like the best is Pretty Peach. Another 2 blushes I love that a somewhat similar are the Flower Flower Pot blush in Warm Hibiscus (I have heard people say it is close to Nars Orgasim), also Wet n Wild’s pearlescent pink is a pretty blush. All have a shimmer.
I found the Milani tubing mascara to be really heavy on my lashes. By the end of the day, my lashes are no longer curled and my lids hurt. It's something I have never experienced before. Now the elf Lash N Roll? I love it. I'm still searching for my favorite (drugstore) volumizing mascara to try out the two mascara technique you've mentioned. Still, in the meantime, I love the natural, fluffy, and separating look I get from the elf.
The issue you had with the Milani luminoso reminds me of the elf halo blush wand in Candlelit! It was my third choice of color but my top two were sold out. I have fair-light skin but that shade didn't do much for me. It works pretty well as either a highlight or blush topper, but I was expecting a liquid blush. I probably won't pick up the other shades though, good formula but I found the packaging to be messy
I love an all matte look too and if I didn't already have an all matte neutral palette, I would consider the Milani. Although, I want to try the Catrice blush and Nyx lip oil. 😊
kelly I can't belive how fast the time is going I was 55 this year the way it's going by the time I turn round I'm going to be 60 that's frightening for some reason buying foundation that matches my skin colour and under tone they are orange I've managed to get samples of a few so I haven't bought them others I have i bought the la girl blue foundation mixer but it made every foundation oily I threw them all out in the end next one I buy I'm going by my actual skin colour light medium matches it least i can bronze up if needed i love these videos it refreshes my memory with the amount of makeup being released I forget xx
Watch yourself guys, the grande lash started giving me pain in my eyes like if I rubbed my eyes I could feel pain.stopped using the serum and it's going away .kinda scary really
Its funny to me how all the beauty creators are freaking out over pink powder when ELF has had their Halo Glow pink powder for quite a while now. It works great and is so much cheaper than the Jones Road, One Size, and Huda Beauty pink powders.
@@playingtime24 lol right!! I didn't even think about that! Usually it's ELF copying the big brands. And their pink powder is really good. Why buy these other brands when ELF's powder is $8. Let me say that again...EIGHT DOLLARS!!!
Not to armchair diagnose, but I've had that sort of makeup snafu happen when I had a little patch of dermatitis near my eye - unnoticeable on a bare face, but really grabs onto blush, making things look weird & patchy. Something to keep in mind if it keeps happening.
I REALLY want the Catrice blush in Spice Space but it reminds me a lot of PMG Fleurtatious which I already own. does anyone know if those shades are similar at all?
I'd be verrry interested to know this too! I want Fleurtatious during a sale but it sold out. I got Nude Venus II and it's not my favorite. Hard to discern why, I just don't like it on me. Maybe too warm nudey vs cooler nudey? 😄🤷♀️
I tried the link for the Singe brushes and the website says "on vacation." Never heard of that before. Are any of the brushes good for shimmer shadows? None of my current brushes work very well for shimmers, but I just don't like using my fingers.
Angie didn't want ppl to think she was ignoring orders while on vacay. She should be back today or tomorrow. I love the brushes for shimmers. I don't have much lid space and her brushes make blending so easy.
Omg I have the same issue on both sides of my temples!! They won’t let any thing foundation, concealer, bronzer lay down so no matter what I look patchy in those two spots !!! Someone pls help me fix this annoying problem!!!!
I just got the e.l.f. Lash n Roll mascara and I didn't like it at all! it does nothing for my lashes, it's like applying a clear mascara, very weird ... am I the only one? 🤔
Do you feel like any of the newer blush formulas are Nars Orgasm ish?? Mine is so ancient and so dried out and I'm pining for a new one, but want to save some $, maybe try a new product. And, I adamantly disagree with anyone who thinks Luminouso is a dupe. Too peachy not enough pink in the base, etc aanyywayyy lol. I have only tried essence mascaras and never tried anything from Catrice. Also almost out of my Milani lip oil, which I picked up after Jessica Braun raved about it and I loved it too! Interested to know how the Nyx compares, esp in actual moisturizing feel v gloss finish. It looked like your hand was starting to react slightly to that Glow recipe product! I gave up trying their stuff. Too many fails for me. Your videos are always SO helpful and are such a nice boost after tough days at work! Thanks Kelly!
They say that the Sleek blush in Rose Gold is similar to Nars Orgasm (Sleek's blush being more pigmented). I have the Sleek one and it is very beautiful on the skin!
Tarte's Maneater Blush and Glow in Peachy Pink is similar to the Orgasm color, but liquid. They also just released 7 new shades so there might be a better option.
