First car show of 2024 starts off with... snow? In Calgary it does. Come on down to the World of Wheels and lets take a one on one walk around the show and check out everything it has to offer!
The blue 1978 AMC Concord that flashes on the screen at 23:10 was my first car. Not a car like it, but my actual first car. My Mom bought it brand new on Remembrance Day, 1978, and I bought it from her for $1 in 1991. Later sold it to my Dad in ‘92 for $1, and he had it fully restored top to bottom, in ‘92-93, and we enjoyed it another 29 years, summer driving and car shows. He sold it to a longtime friend two and a half years ago.
I am so glad I stumbled across this channel and subscribed. I'm really excited to be able to binge watch all the episode and really look forward to what's coming next. Thank you for the work you do and all the work you put in to making these videos.
I grew up in my dads private scrap vintage car yard. all those old worn out cars were my jungle gym. I get you when u say these cars are so me. I also completely understand the flack u get from old fuddy duds that want everything pristine. rat rods forever! punk is not dead!
thats a cool show, I hate that alberta classic prices are completely out to lunch. If you find something in alberta you can almost ALWAYS get it 50% off anywhere else. Its so backwards.
I'm not a huge truck fan, but I would definitely drive chain smoker, and that mustang truck. I love the vintage and custom stuff, including some nice motorcycles. If I had to pick one moto, it would be either an Indian, a Triumph, or a pan head.
do some research on that titanium. million dollar race teams use it for weight saving and throw it out after. its not made to get extremely hot and cool over and over, it becomes brittle and falls apart.
While I’m not arguing about the race teams use for it, I’ll just be using it for an intermediate pipe between turbos. Most supercars use titanium on their aftermarket exhausts (such as Unobtainium Welding) which get much much hotter. Thanks for caring enough to share tho as I didn’t know race teams tossed them (I want a old race team piece in my collection now lol)
I wasn't expecting to find one of my favourite's from the world of wheels on youtube I went there this year with some family and friends if you remember seeing a plaid jacket hanging next to a really tall dude with a baseball cap and a shorter dude with black glasses a baseball cap and then a younger guy with a flat cap that was my group
That is something that really annoys me, when kids are doing stuff like that and the parents are just standing there watching it and not only just watching it but recording it and they don't say a word. I mean even with out a fence around it the parents have gotta know you can't let your kids crawl all over something especially at a car show. I mean come on people, man. By the way I like your truck and I can see that took some time and effort. Great job buddy!!
5:35 he said "next time ask" (if you can crawl inside) or "в следующий раз спрашивай" in russian. Didn't expect to hear my country's language in your video lol
Love Chainsmoker but if you're planning to do a Eurotrip in it, you should probably put it on a trailer cause authorities here (especially in Germany, where I live) wouldn't look too kindly upon it... You would probably get pulled over by the first cop car that sees you, they would have a quick look at it, put it on a flatbed and take it to the TÜV, where the inspector would ban you from ever driving it on public roads in Europe 😅. Then you would have to go through the trouble of SOMEHOW getting it back from the cops so you can ship it back to your place... And I don't want to even start going into all the legal stuff, you'd have to face😬. In short, better get a rental for your Eurotrip 😅.
"gotta love alberta" us albertans are just really good at sending meaningless insults at everybody with basically nobody caring since they do it too XD.
