Why doesn't this video have more views omg!? I've been binging drugstore loose powder videos and they all give you like 5 different recommendations but don't give any sort of ranking or reasoning between those options and it was so overwhelming for a makeup beginner like me. Your ranking system and pros/cons were so helpful, I finally feel comfortable buying one! Gonna try the fit me!!
I want to give you the biggest thank you! I've been struggling for so many years. I have a decent skincare, but my makeup game has been awful. Very few days I have good makeup days, which still includes touch-ups. Other times, my makeup melts off completely. I can't afford to try new products constantly. And alot of the products you recommend, I've been afraid to try. But they work so, so well! Thank you, thank you! You've helped me so much! Now I don't have to carry around multiple powders to 'correct' another powder. You are the only makeup reviewer in the last few years that has helped me! Today I'm going to the drugstore since the Catrice translucent pressed powder has let me down (12h lasting? Nu-uh, more like 2h and accentuates skin texture and your concealer, tinted sunscreen etc ends up looking cakey even if you hidrate deeply) so I'm so glad I found this video!
This is exactly what I was looking for. I have such an oily T-Zone and chin, and I'm still learning what works and what doesn't, so I've been on the hunt for good recommendations on a no-fuss setting powder to control the shine a little more as well as help set my makeup without breaking the bank, I.E. I can simply pick up what I'm looking for whenever I go grocery shopping next. I'll be checking more of your videos, including some of the individuals for this particular set. This was such a good breakdown into the what and why. :)

I love the Maybelline Fit Me matte n poreless translucent pressed powder, I also used the Maybelline Fit Me matte n poreless loose finishing powder, I use the Maybelline Fit Me matte n poreless foundation and I use Maybelline Fit Me concealer and I love them all lol. 💖💛💚💙💜

A friend got me last year the Coti Airspun powder from the 🇺🇸 because in my country it’s not available. And I’ve been using only this powder since then. I love it! And a couple of days ago I’ve ordered on ebay the Maybelline fit me powder. I’ve been waiting for this for years now to come to Europe, but no such luck. So now I’m waiting for it to come from California 😂 I can’t wait to try it. I’ve had the Rimmel stay matte one - i did not like it. I also had the one from Nyx. Nice but not amazing. So it seems that we agree on the ratings 😄
I'm so glad that you were able to get your hands on the Maybelline Fit Me powder, it will not disappoint! Yeah, a lot of these powders that people rave about did not really do anything that wowed me, they were just ok.
Hmm. The Maybelline Fit me is very heavy under my eyes. Quite aging; emphasizes wrinkles after a couple of minutes. Looks very pretty on smooth areas of the face though. My HG was the Too faced Peach Perfect loose powder, but it was discontinued. Dont know what to get to replace it. It was translucent with a slight peach tint, but it was barely there. Very fine powder.

Thank you so much for that video! I used to wear loose powder, but I stopped years ago and I just need to find something mainly for my undereye and my oily/combination skin. Have you tried the products from Physician Formula? I tried their bronzers and I love it. But that's about it. Could you do a review for them please? They are a bit on the expensive side. :) Thank you again for sharing your worse and best loose powders! :)
I hope this helped you find a loose powder for your under eye area, loose powder over the entire face definitely doesn't work for everyone so I can completely understand with that. I do plan on reviewing some Physicians Formula in the future with this oily skin series, I have tried their loose powder foundation and I loved it but other than that, that is all that I have tried.

Ooh...I’m gonna have to research that...because to be honest, I’m not exactly sure about that but that sounds super beneficial for sensitive eyes especially during allergy season.
Currently using the airspun and I'm happy with it however it depends on the foundation whether I love it or not. I'm still looking for my perfect foundation and powder combo.

I'm so happy you loved this video! 🥰 I tend to stick to the translucent powders; I feel like it's the best way to test how universal they can be, like how well they would work on different skin tones, for example, if it leaves a white cast. I hope this makes sense.

can the Maybelline one be used as a setting powder and a finishing powder?whats the difference between setting powder and a finishing powder?i have oily skin lol just thought it was important to say 😁😭
Setting powders are used to set your concealer, and finishing powders are used to set the entire face, it sets everything in place. So it's used at the end before you use your setting spray
I use FitMe pressed powder. But doesnt hold much for oil or sweat. Does anybody know if the longevity between the loose and pressed significantly different?? My skin in the recent years turned oily after turning 28. Before I had realy dry and poreless skin. So oily skin journey is realy new & unbelievably confusing to me 🙃😔
9 months late, but blotting papers! Not a makeup, but keeps shine away throughout the day. You blot the nose when it starts looking oily, and it sucks away all the oil:)
Setting powder is a powder that sets your liquid/cream makeup. (Concealers, foundation etc). Translucent just means transparent (has no colour pigment, so most skintones can use it) You can have a translucent setting powder
Get the Maybelline Fit Me Setting Powder in Medium Dark 30 or above depending on your skin tone. I'm a NW44 in mac and Maybelline Fit Me Medium 30 works perfect for me.
