This is another video that has been sponsored by Melody Publications. And another song that I may have never heard of had they not sent me their hymnal! They have 9 scripture references next to the verses and chorus as well as a brief history of Haldor Lillenas (the author of this hymn) and the writing of this hymn at the bottom of the page. I highly recommend adding this unique hymnal to your collection! melodypublications.com/youtube/acapellahymns/thebiblestands
Anyone in 2022???..... Well I'm from the Island of Kiribati in the Pacific and I really enjoying listening to this hymn... In addition we are translating this hymn into our own language so that we can sing it and others who have never heard the Gospel will fall for this amazing hymn... I like the alto part 😇✝️🇰🇮
With Biblical truth under intense attack from modern culture, it's rather unfortunate that most hymnals have not included this strong and sublime hymn. Great cappella singing, thanks a lot!
in English, there are more than a 1,000,000 total words, 170,000 words are in current use. 20,000-30,000 words are used by each individual person. A child of 6 uses 2,600 but understands many more. The Gospel of John is written with a vocabulary of less than 900 words.
Amen! This song brings glory to God. This reminds me of whenI refuted the devil’s lie and my disbelief. An example would be to refute the lie that Mary and Joseph fornicated and conceived Jesus before it was appropriate. But we use scripture that God had prepare before hand to refute the lie, Deuteronomy 23:2 “no one of a forbidden union may enter the assembly of the Lord” yet Jesus is brought to The temple in Luke 2:22 proving The Christ Jesus came from the Holy Union Of the Holy Ghost and Mary when she was a virgin.
Love it! Love it! Love it! Never heard that one. What a fantastic anthem. I’m going to try to get our church to use it. I love the movement in the alto line. Well done!
It sure is a fun one! It was new to me as well. Funny how just having a new hymnal can expose me to hundreds of hymns that I've never heard of before! Glad you enjoyed!
Have you looked into Hymnery.com, or a hymnal called LUYH (Lift Up Your Hands)? A friend of mine, Glenn Tiedeman had a hand in it. You can see his channel under his name.
@@djabbamont1080 - Yes ma'am, I use Hymnary.com often for looking for older verses that aren't included in newer hymnals or to see what an original arrangement looked like rather than a more modern edition.
Beautiful song the bible stands theres nothing as strong as the foundation of the Lord, Do u know the song Love divine all Loves excelling? would love to hear it from you Thank u for the great work God bless
I don't understand why are the parents not starving looking.? children look like they haven't eaten in months. But the parents look like they eat. I don't understand. I really don't understand. If the child is 5 years old. It could eat the same food that the parents eat so why do the parents not look like they're starving?
I'm glad you enjoyed the recording, Astxrism. If you ever have any questions about God, I'm happy to attempt to help. Or at least - as best I can through a comment section on RU-vid. 😄
God is willing to forgive you of your sins, all of them, if you repent, accept his son Jesus and ask him into your life. That's all you have to do. To do it: Realize that you are a wicked and evil sinner because you've broken God's law just once in your life, (whether that be any sexual behavior or intentions before or outside of marriage, lying, stealing, being angry at someone, having hate in your heart, gluttony, pride, laziness, adultery, arrogance, etc.) then humble yourself before God and beg for his forgiveness for your sins believing on him. Repent and hate your sin, don't just say sorry but actually make an effort to change and ask God for his help to allow you to resist temptation. Then invite Jesus Christ into your life and ask him to send his holy spirit to dwell inside you. Then accept him as Lord and Savior and receive forgiveness in this name :)
@@andrewpayan1720 let's say hypothetically. There is a woman who is being forced into an arrangemened marriage with some guy. He isn't a mean guy, he actually sounds pretty nice and kind. And of course there some rules to this marriage. No talking with other guys and to love him unconditionally. And if she breaks one of these rules, he will burn her alive. Yeah, doesn't sound very much like unconditional love right? Sounds kind of psycho. Now let's take a look at another senerico. Let's say there's this god who expects this woman to love him unconditionally. And of course there are some rules. To worship and love him unconditionally and to not talk to other gods. If she fails to do this, then she'll be burned alive. But suddenly this is love? Yeah that doesn't make any sense. This is the exact reason why I am not a Christian. I mean, I can't even do basic things without being called a 'sinner'.

The process of recording hymns is a bit tougher than just posting them. I'm not sure I know that one though. Can you provide the author and year of composition?
@@acappellahymns I only got the composer name the year it was composed I couldn't. 😔😔 And this is the link of a singing quartet m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-puq-piBBsUY.html Composer: Kenneth Fulkerson God Bless You.
Ooh, that sounds like a fun one! Thanks for providing the author. I looked into it a bit further and found out that it was written in 1941. Because of that, it's copyrighted. But I'll tentatively add it to my list and reach out to the copyright admin. Do you happen to have sheet music for that one? I'll look in my older hymnals too.
