I don't struggle with pornography as in looking at pornography but I do struggle with lust which is no different and I struggle with the sin of masturbation this is kind of an uncomfortable topic but I thought I would just be brave enough to admit it

Hey there! I totally get you. What you need is to confess to fellow christians, your Dad, mom, brother, sister, or Pastor, some people who will help you. This is never a battle to be fought alone, James says confess your sins to one another and pray for one another so that you may be healed. You need the support of the local church, and if not accessible because of covid 19 then atleast your family members should know. If you have already confessed to your parents, or pastor, that's okay, but if not yet, you need to now. The Devil will want to keep you from confessing to other christians, so that he has power to keep you in the cycle of relapsing over and over, that is slavery, Christ came to set us free. If you listen and do what I've suggested, very probably the Lord will heal you, He has the power to transform you, and make you stand strong under temptation. Just as Corinthians says no temptation has overtaken you beyond your strength to endure, but the Lord will also provide a way out.

Temptations can come and go my friend but not your salvation... I will be praying for you, as a young person you still have a lot of life and energy in you. Use it for good use it to stop temptation, ask and pray to God and he will help, maybe not at that exact moment but it will happen... Love and peace, you are strong enough to face your temptations and say no...

I totally no where you are coming from and I'll truly pray for you. I'm 34 yrs old and I've struggled with this until July 7th I've never been able to get control of the situation until I truly gave my total trust in Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior and really started to drive deeply into the KJV Bible. Again brother I will pray for you and remember that it is an abomination to the Lord to do so. I've not looked back since all thanks to God.

The bible tells us that any form of idolatry, witchcraft, murder or murderous thoughts, stealing, lying, adultery (sex outside of marriage), same sex marriage, hatred, unforgiveness, etc…. are all sin. God has seen every sin we have ever committed. Yes, EVERY sin. Now you CAN’T get up to God and say, “Hey I didn’t know the consequences, let’s make a DEAL.” God has already said in the bible “This is the deal!” You Must accept Jesus Christ for your sins or else... HELL!! I know you may not like it, but it’s true. You ask yourself, “How do I stay out of Hell? THIS and ONLY this...! Admit that you are a sinner because we all are. Every one of us. Be willing to turn from sin and REPENT. Believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose from the dead as the ONLY atonement. He took your punishment for your sins. Through prayer invite Jesus Christ into your life. “What to pray?” “Dear God, I am a sinner and I need your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His blood and died for our sins. I am willing to turn from sin and invite Jesus Christ into my heart and my life as my personal savior.” THAT’S IT! Now your off to a good start surrender your life to Jesus…. get a bible and read it every day and do what its says, to get to know God better, also tell others about what Jesus Christ has done for you. Don’t just take my word for it! Look this stuff up in the bible for yourself. 1. Revelation 20: 10 2. Revelation 21: 7 3. Luke 16: 19….Through...16: 31 4. John 3: 35 5. Acts 2: 38 6. 2nd Peter 2: 21 Please don’t go to Hell. You won’t like it. You can’t just try it for a weekend...ITS FOREVER! You are not promised another day on Earth. Tomorrow might be too late. Heaven and Hell are both F O R E V E R!!! And it’s up to you which one you’ll choose. I tell you this not because it’s my law, but because it’s God’s law and it’s that simple. Hi I can totally relate. I am an avid reader not so much romance now in my adult years but for many years my number one go to was horror. I loved that stuff. Also horror movies. Anything of the supernatural. For a long time I was not bothered by it but over the years as I prayed more, read my bible more and spent more time with God I realized that my appetite for it lessened. There would be times I would become literally sickened by some passages and would actually throw the book in the garbage. As time went on, I found that I was not even drawn to those types of books and movies anymore. I still like a good mystery or science fiction but I find I am not even tempted by the darker stuff. I am still an avid reader and my taste is wide and varied. I am now very careful in choosing my books. There is a wonderful author, one of the few romance novelists that I still read, tho her books are not strictly romance to be honest. Her name is Francine Rivers. Please try out her historical 3 book series about a Jewish slave girl named Hadassah set in the 20 years or so after Jesus 's death . I promise you won't be disappointed. Unfortunately I find that many Christian authors are not quality writers. Rivers is one of the exceptions. I've read her books over and over and everyone I've recommended her books to praise her novels and skill. I would love if you would check her out and come back and give me your thoughts as I love hearing what people think of my book recommendations. 😁 Be blessed always and may God continue to guide and strengthen you in your Christian journey.

It's hard to tell by my name but I too am a woman who was delivered from sexual sin that went on for a long time, I thought I would never be delivered, but our Lord Jesus is Faithful and in His time,delivered me. But we need to to the legwork, read God's Word, pray, put away worldly (and a lot of "Christian" music and entertainments, especially on the internet). It's not easy, I still have an occasional dream or remember an old lover, and I pray fervently to be delivered from that. I keep the Scripture verse "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things". Philippians 4:8. Also " I can do all things through Christ, which strengtheneth me". That's just one of many verses that are helpful, just keep doing the best you can with the Lord's help. The bad part of a spouse is that they are also a human being who brings in their problems to combine with yours. They can also be hurt REALLY BAD by us if we don't deal with our problems first.

Hello, sorry, this a late reply. But even if your not able to read this, I still want to encourage you. Remember the time when Peter saw Jesus walking on water? And what did Peter say? And what did Peter say? "Lord, if it's You, tell me to come to You on the water" (Matthew 14:28) and the Lord said "Come" (Matthew 14:29). And we all know that Peter was doing good for the first few moments, until "when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, 'Lord, save me!'" (Matthew 14:30) and then "Immediately Jesus reached out His hand and caught him. 'You of little Faith', He said, 'why did you doubt?'" (Matthew 14:31). I think this is an accurate picture of our life with Jesus. Whenever God calls us, we risk ourselves by stepping in the Water, which can be Sin, Despair, and all bad things. We as Christians, will at times walk on Sin, and Despair, and at times we sink in Sin, and Despair, but throughout it all, we are called only to look on Jesus. There are three things that we could do in Life, we either walk on Sin, but have our eyes on God, and have Faith that He will save us, or we sink in Sin, and Despair, but even then we have Faith that God can reach down His hand and save us. And the third is to willingly surrender to Sin, and Despair. To walk or sink in Sin is inevitable, but to willingly surrender to Sin is unacceptable. The most immoral thing a man can do is willingly surrender to Sin, and Despair. But what shall happen, when we sink? What if we sink too low? What if we are submerged too deep, so deep that God can no longer save us? I have question for you, is God's Hand too short? Can He not reach down and catch you? We see in the Bible, that it gives no mention how deep Peter was when he was sinking, the water could have been at his knees, at his neck, or he may have been entirely submerged in it. But the Bible doesn't mention how deep Peter was in the Water, because it's unimportant, what is important is, no matter how deep Peter was, Jesus was able to catch him. So, it doesn't matter if we have been in the depths of Sin your entire life, it doesn't matter how deep you are in your sin, what matters is, no matter how long you've been in Sin, or how deep in it, what matters is that God can catch you. As long as we have Little Faith, as small as a mustard sead, we can rest assured that Jesus will be able to catch us.

Felt the same last year. Im 13 btw. U gotta remember that its not gonna be easy. Trust me, u dont wanna live without God in ur life. I was so tierd of being the only Christian that i decided to stray from God. Worst. Decision. Ever. I became a toxic person. I lost my compasion for people. I lost my desire to go to school, etc Im trying to come back but its hard. Its harder to stray and then come back to God. Its better to stay with God through our teen years. This world doesnt have anything to offer. Nothing will satisfy u here. Not netflix, not relationships, not even grades. Ur relationship with God is enviable and wholsome. Keep going at it mate. Its worth it

Never lose hope. And cling on to God to help you out of it. That was the way I found my saving. Indeed, the Holy Spirit works and helps you out. This sin of pornography took root in my life a few years ago in my early 30's when a guy with whom I wanted to stay in touch for his skills in the Spanish language (since I am into learning languages), started sending me porn videos instead, I told him to stop but he did not listen. Although I blocked him, the sin stuck and it also kind of led me to another sin which is masturbation. These are sins with which I had no connection through my years of schooling and even at college here in India, even at college, when guys were encouraging me to come and see, I would advise them and walk away without even entering their room. Of late, I am not using my smartphone that much, only if it is required. The Bible talks about "temperance" as a fruit of the Holy Spirit which I have been asking God for, I still need more grace to fight the sin of masturbation which came in through pornography. I want deliverance from this and I am trusting God to save me from it, maybe you could make a video on this as well. I am not married yet.

I feel for me tossing the chains of lust and gambling and other sins off me was when I started to fear the lord, for it says the fear of the lord is the start of wisdom.
