Judith is a fascinating story. A strong beautiful woman who saved the Israelites from certain destruction. Whether every detail of the story is accurate is irrelevant. Her guile and courage are almost certainly an historical fact.

It’s still in the Ethiopian orthodox Christian Bible which is the oldest known version to the original Christian Bible

It’s also in the Catholic Bible. The Protestant bibles have 66 books while the Catholic Bible has 73. Ethiopian 88 I believe. These missing books are known as “the apocrypha” or Septuagint (Greek Old Testament). In reading the apocrypha, I personally noticed that there is a kindness and feminine value more in books like Judith and the Wisdom of Solomon. Just in my personal opinion, they were removed from Protestant bibles (which weren’t written until the 1500s, KJV in 1611) with chauvinistic intent. Removing parts of the Bible that credited strong women and wisdom being explained as a feminine attribute. Even the Hebrew word for wisdom is a feminine noun. The Ethiopian Bible contains the book of Enoch (which was argued to be inconsistent with the Torah) that I think classified it as the oldest. The Catholic Bible was compiled between 300-400 AD and the addition of the Garmin to the Ethiopian Bible was dated about 500 AD. The oldest known manuscript is the Codex Sinaiticus and is found in Ethiopian/Orthodox bibles and Catholic Bibles.

@@eugenefernandez4377when the KJV was published in 1611 the book of Judith was in it. Only since the 19th century has it and other books been wholly omitted in protestant bibles. When Jesus referred to scripture it included Judith. The Masoretic Hebrew scriptures which excludes Judith and which Luther used from the 16th century dates from about 900 years AFTER Christ. The Masoretic Jews of course reject Jesus and also his mother Mary. Judith is the ‘handmaid of the Lord’ and crushed the head of her enemy. You can see that Judith is a type of Mary (crushes head - see Genesis 3, is handmaid - see Luke 1) and now you can see why Protestants removed the book from Christian scripture - to downplay Mary - and agree with the Jews that reject Christ.

If you're gonna be racist, at least be correct. There are no such thing as "white" ppl. Eber is the father of the Hebrews, not Shem. Also, Jews are only the descendants of Judah. There are 12 more tribes & Abraham is the father of MANY nations so it absolutely does NOT matter if anyone is Semitic or not. Stop thinking y'all better than everyone else bc that's why God expelled you all in the first place. There's no such thing as a "chosen" ppl in that book so stfu already. Whole world is sick of your religious bullshit anyway
