It was a decade later and two days early that Pokemon debuted in America. As for 'A Pup Named Scooby Doo', some stuff in the show annoys me, but the show was good. Some of my favorite chase songs are from episodes: 'A Bicycle Built for Boo!', 'The Sludge Monster From the Earth's Core', 'The Schnook Who Took My Comic Book', 'Wanted Cheddar Alive', 'The Babysitter from Beyond', 'Snow Place Like Home' (I like the 'Hey-na-ni-na-ni-o' bit), 'Return of Commander Cool', 'Chickenstein Lives', 'Night of the Living Burger', 'The Computer Walks Among Us', 'Dog Gone Scooby' (In that episode, the antagonist, Paula P. Casso, is voiced by Pat Carroll, who you would later hear as the role of Ursula the Sea Witch in The Little Mermaid.), and 'The Were-Doo of Doo Manor'.
Nice rendition of each of the musical numbers from each episode, Wiley. I remember watching "A Pup Named Scooby-Doo" quite a number of times on Saturday mornings when I was younger. In fact, we actually used to have a few episodes recorded off of TV, but they've long been recorded over.
When the show was new, I was just a baby, then a very young toddler. (I was almost three years old when the show ended.) I discovered it through Cartoon Network reruns and have loved it ever since. First episode I remember seeing as a kid was "Scooby Dude," which has some really nice Glen Kennedy animation in the first five minutes, complete with kick-dancing!
With me, I was born in 1987, a year before you were born, so I was a year old when the show first came out. So far, the episodes I remember we had recorded before they got lost were "Chickenstein Lives", "The Spirit of Rock n' Roll", and a few others I don't remember we had recorded.
