From episode 5, The Hamburger Postulate. Leonard ran into Leslie at the Cheesecake Factory, and she suggests that Leonard play in her string quartet as they are in need of a new cellist.
@@sidthelazysloth he actually plays. You can tell in the episode where he played for penny. But this one is fake. He probably didn’t know the piece and didn’t bother to learn it before filming.
I have watched this episode so many times, but for the love of god I still can’t understand why Leslie carried her instrument with her to the bed room!😂
@@ash5900 It was fine as "cellist". I was just joking that it’s a shame we never saw more of Leonard playing with the violinist (Leslie Winkle). Probably a bad joke on my part.
she was so good she should had more scenes. actually the whole nerd thing kinda dissapeared of the show, in the end it was looking like a show of couples life and it was strange
I miss Leslie since her final appearance where she left after the season three finale which was also Amy's debut episode. Who replaced her as Sheldon's nemesis?
Sara Gilbert as Leslie Winkle was one the THE very best characters in this series. They needed her far more often ---------in whatever way that could have happened. She was easily MY favorite in the series. ---------------MJL, 77 y/o
Normal people: “lenslie❤️” Me, a musician: “look how bad their fingering is!! Their bows are sliding back and forth!! When it’s playing vibrato she’s not actually playing vibrato!! For half of it he’s not even playing with music paper because he nocked it over!!!”
i've listened to all 4 of the suggestions for the music here and though they're close none is actually the same, then i tried the various dictionaries of musical themes which had no piece of music that matched the notes, eventually i had to consider that the few bars involved (which are really nice) may have been written for the episode - which is my current opinion.
How many of you know that the song played in this Big Bang episode is the same song at the Lesbian Wedding in the Friends TV Series (Season 2, Episode 11) 😁?
It's entirely possible the excerpt of music the ensemble is playing is not part of a Classical work but just a fragment written expressly for the episode. Just like the elegant waltz that begins the ballroom sequence in the Pottsdorf segment of the movie The Great Race was actually written by Henry Mancini, even though it sounds like it was written by a 19th Century European composer (they do quote a few excerpts from the Strauss family such as The Blue Danube but otherwise the soundtrack was 100% Mancini's). As the series is ongoing it's possible to write to the producers about this episode and inquire.
The one thing I never understood, if Leonard hated the cello that much why he never got rid of it. It obvious that neither of the parents didn't care or mention it.
"I did have a poppy seed bagel for breakfast which could give up positive urine test for opiates but certainly not dilated my pupils so I guess there's no point on bring it up." HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
