That's the way some people are. They're so afraid to lose that person or be alone, they'll let that person run that relationship. It started with his mom Beverly , being cold and emotionless to him. Leonard craves a woman, to want him and show him affection.

Season 1 had so much potential for ways the show could have gone. My love of the show really still all comes from what could have been. I saw the pilot 3 times before I saw any other episodes, so I was always a Penny/Sheldon shipper. It was so weird to see the hard shift to siblings in S3. Never really cared about the plot after that, it was clearly a show aimed at other people.

Anu was never more than window dressing, a prop designed to make us actually care about Raj.

I have always cared about Raj (from S01EP01) and still wish he and Emily had not break up. Or there was that Claire girl, but the writers wrote her off as well

I felt the same way. Also the finale was a disappointment by not including some sort of ark where Penny and Leonard agree to have kids together. In reality I think couples talk about kids much earlier and way more often.

Maybe back would definately let him be the godfather considering he admires him so much But this shows that if leonard wanted to go and have a baby through IVF or surrogacy, penny wouldn't approve of it If someone doesnt want to have my child then fine I would respect that But if they try to control me and say i cant have this and i cant have that either I would rather go the divorce route The writers fucked up when they didn't take this whole sperm donation thing further It was a waste of an episode They should have rather just done it And then when the baby was here they could have made penny go emotional and decide to have a baby at the end of the show rather then making her pregnant out of nowhere and acting off it like she didn't want babies a few episodes earlier I hated this season I hate penny as much as i hate Rachel now Never thought I would say that

Because this season needed manufactured drama to pad out its runtime. And I think it's been pretty clearly established that no one on this show is normal.

Because Leonard doesn’t have a spine and he was to terrified of losing someone to abuse him.

Because his role in the show was the only thing it hadn't wrapped up by the end of the last season. And the writers were clearly hoping for that season to be the last. Unfortunately, they got an order to fill 22 half hours of time with no ideas how, so they went into the writing room, threw whatever they had against the wall and came up with the season based on what didn't stick.

He's always been a loser. The only reason he got any sympathy was because it happened only mostly when he was drunk. Then the writers abandoned that quirk and he still acted that way.

I actually like Lucy, the one with anxiety issues. Emily the dermatologist who likes scary stuff had a lot of screen time and wasn't that bad of a choice. The girl who looked like Elsa (forgot her name) was good too. Isabela, the cleaning lady at caltech seemed nice but never followed up.
