Yeah, like when he pretended to go for a walk so he could have Italian-style spaghetti with Penny after she broke up with Leonard (plus hotdogs), and Howard was leaving on his motorcycle - Sheldon couldn't think of a good reason not to walk down with Howard. One of the funniest scenes that had me laughing and rewinding multiple times!
Love how it shows that he actually considered everything she said before saying it, meaning that he actually felt what she was saying had enough importance that it was worth taking on as his own
But Sheldon really got the win, when the table was purchased Sheldon refused to sit and eat at it making everyone but Leonard feel sorry for him and leave to go sit with Sheldon. I believe Sheldons final words to Leonard on this subject was "sometimes the baby wins" 🤣🤣
Actually, Sheldon's spot was always there, the only thing that "changed" was what was there. It was originally a lawn chair which Sheldon was perfectly happy with.

I hated the ending of that episode when Sheldon finaly got his way. He was just like a freakin child making a tantrum and managed to win even though Leonard is the one making a valid point he cannot answer in any way, and Raj still having to keep sitting on the floor and everyone having to eat in uncomfortable places. It was frankly frustrating.

Sheldon would never allow it. Leonard's desk chair is for when Leonard is working at his desk, not a place for Raj to eat as for buying an extra chair. Sheldon's a big baby who would kick and scream until it was removed

The reality is that Sheldon getting his way nearly ruined everyone's lives more than once. It was when he accepted reality that change was going to happen things got better.

When Sheldon’s brain got stumbled by science equipment that is back up on scientific evidence his brain literally restarted & bounced back from being Amy’s little mimick puppet & he realized that she was just trying to get Sheldon to move into her apartment ( or her move in with him in his apartment) and he was not ready for that huge change so he decided that he would accept the dinning table in his apartment from his new roommate couple. ❤😂🎉😊
The good change v bad change really depended on Sheldon’s comfort level. He went from a lawn/beach chair to a comfy couch w/o much change to his position (he’s just a little bit higher when sitting) You gotta speak to that comfort level of his to achieve negotiating
In Sheldon's defense, the spot has already been there since day one. from a lawn chair to a couch. No matter what they put on that exact spot, Sheldon still liked it due to the perfect angle etc.. Although, in Leonard's defense too. He is right on that part where he said change is not all bad. Because Sheldon loved that spot even more when they changed it to a couch. I really love how these two evolved. Sheldon from an emotionless robot became alittle sympathetic and appreciative. And Leonard from a nerd with low confidence and self-esteem became vocal and brave.

Well to be technical. The yard chair Sheldon had prior to the couch actually sat in the same location as HIS spot on the couch. So the location remained the same just different furniture
A moment Leonard actually got 1 over Sheldon. I was going to say the moment. But I don't know for sure if this is a solitary moment or numerous others Leonard actually outsmarted Sheldon through logic
Boy how they murdered Sheldon just to accomodate Amy in show.. you're telling me he is the same guy in this scene as he is in his whole childhood in young sheldon and first 5 seasons of BBT never swayed and manipulated like this by anyone
This episode actually describes Sheldon’s disability in one way cuz people with Asperger’s syndrome can get agitated when something from their daily routine changes. He likes to maintain a certain distance from the bathroom mirror when he brushes his teeth, the time Penny made French toast on Oatmeal day, Leonard replacing the chairs with the couch and now putting in the table. Raj had to trick Sheldon by telling him there was a dirty sock somewhere in the apartment that made him want to leave so he could meet Amy. I know it’s just a show and all, but people with Asperger don’t have eidetic memories like Sheldon which makes him the special kind of special cuz not even the most autistic people can remember the day they were born or remember a brisket recipe that was told to him as a baby by his Meemaw

After years of not watching this show, I found myself watching its clips time and time again here and on IG. I started watching the series a few weeks ago and just finished this episode tonight 😅
