For those wondering, the credentials he cited are as follows: BS - Bachelor of Science MS - Master of Science MA - Master of Arts PhD - Doctor of Philosophy (in physics presumably) ScD - Doctor of Science
@@alexanderkuptsov6117 Master of Arts is a high level generic degree in arts. So whereas science might be in subjects like chemistry and biology, arts degrees would include subjects like history or linguistics. They never say what Sheldon’s MA is in, specifically.
@@xFENRISx I know what MA is, I have one :) I was just interested in Sheldon, because, like I said, I haven't seen all the episodes (actually quite a few) and knowing how science-oriented Sheldon is, I would suggest that he's very sceptical about all liberal arts / humanities degrees :)
@@alexanderkuptsov6117 Yeah that’s true. But I could picture Sheldon doing subjects like linguistics, philosophy (they alluded to this in the spin-off), literature, maybe a language like Latin? All of those could be within an MA.
What is this for an event where a neuroscientist,a microbiologist, an experimental physicist, a theoretical physicist, a astonomist and an ingenieur are sitting at one table to talk about science? Sounds like a bad joke to me.
