Nice comparisons 👍Felony only cost $649 in the US. You just proofed felony is well tuned while EX-07 needs turning to achieve stability. You really should adjust the suspensions to minimize the oversteer before adding a gyro. Try stiffening the front and/or softening the rear

I also have an EX-07. It's the largest RC I have and I love it. However reliability isn't perfect. It came with a strangle clicking sound somewhere in the drivetrain, a screw has fell out from one of the wheel hub and the shocks leak. Even so, i still haven't had a need to take it a part. I got the roller version. Similar esc with a dumbo transmitter/receiver and a ecoboost servo. Drifts quite nicely, especially in the wet. I believe tuning the center diff would have a large effect.

Cool video! I have the EX07 and I've driven the Felony. Felony is definitely better out of the box but I have to say, with a better servo and the €20 Dumbo rc gyro receiver, the EX07 is an absolute blast and drifts like a demon.

Hard for me to comment as I don't own an infraction. But from what I have heard I think you are right.

The reason the Felony understeers is because the rear diff has another ratio, to compensate for the larger diameter of the rear wheels. Even with that, the rear wheels rotate at a lower rpm than the front ones..hence the oversteering effect (while trying to drift). On the other hand, it should handle better while driving on a course, without drifting. I bought a Felony, and swapped the rear diff with front one; also the attack pinion, and 100 mm tyres. Arrma does make a new model of Hoons - it is 100 mm in diameter but it's the same width as the rear ones (53mm) (ARA550103 - silver; ARA550102 - white). By doing this, the Felony looks like the Felony, but the entire drivetrain is like the Infraction😂. Hope this helps.

I had a ex07, bought as a roller, made it after my own taste, and after only one run, i decided i loved it to much.. and sold it to a good friend 😂😂😂(didn't have the heart to brake that nice body). Ofcourse, after seeing him play with it, i started to regret selling it..and bought the Felony :)) So, my ex07 with a 150A esc+2200kv motor + dumbo rc with gyro receiver, and a fast servo, was (and still is) super fun, extremly easy to drift. Same with the Felony, after the rear diff and wheels swap. Who knows, maybe i'll get a new ex07 in the future😂😂.

2 great looking cars. In my opinion, youre right about the cost of the Arrma spares is a bit trumpy, but as long as youre not launching it off a skate park ramo, and you avoid curbs (i know you have a thing for curbs!! 😉) i might take a risk with the ZD, but it definitely needs a giro. I use Dumbo transmitters, so chucking one in that would be a no brainer. Cant comment on the hamd brake, as ive never used one!! Good to see Colin getting a speaking oart at long last. Does that now mean he gets paid more?!! 🤔🤗

I just threw in a gyro and was powersliding it on my tiny roof with ease. So that's the icing on the cake for this car. Now need tires. 😂 Yeah Colin has grown up. Hard to pay more when RU-vid keeps reducing revenue. But at least we have fun. 😊👍🏼

Yeah for sure. Just installed my Radiolink with gyro in it and as you probably know. My roof isn't large. Yet I was easily powersliding all over the place. So now I need tires. 😂

Hello ! Jonh if you don't mind can you test wltoys 4CH Brushless Receiver 144010 can use transmitter wltoys 144001 ? if its can used i will go buy 4CH Brushless Receiver 144010 for install in my wltoys 144001 i don't want to change the new tranmitter control it's very good for me if it can be used, I think it would be another option for people who use wltoys144001 to switch to brushless motors. will save money on the new tranmtiter as well, thanks

Hey John. I love my 2 zd ex07 cars. I have a question on the stock battery's how much run time are you getting. It seems I'm getting about 10 minutes but I do a lot of speed runs and not much bashing. Does this seem normal. Thanks. Mike

You NEED to use that handbrake mate? Its a game changer for sliding it round corners, without being rude i think you need to hold the controller properly and not pass your bad habits over to Colin as i noticed him holding it like you in a previous video. If you're holding it the way it's meant to be used it would be a lot easier to use the handbrake and once you get the hang of it,you'll be power sliding it all-over the place,just point it at where you want to go and it will get there

Well you are being rude. What has it got to do with you how I hold the controller? Or how Colin holds it? How is it a bad habit? And it was a decision NOT to use the handbrake. The EX07 doesn't have one so we wanted to show the cars abilities under similar conditions.

Yep, price is high. But so is the fun. And ZD Racing as I said in the video had been brilliant. Nothing has broken in 2 years and it's as strong as it ever was. So I am afraid I can't agree with your opinion. But that's life. 😊
