most realistic thing in rdr2 is how characters carry guns. in gta games and rdr1 character carries every single gun they own EVEN GOD DAMN MINIGUNS AND RPG'S

@noobgamer-dz8mk I just made an RDR comparison recently and noticed the same thing! My favorite is still RDR1 because you can switch guns fast like in GTA V, but then he puts the gun on his side/back and realistically carries it. I like this middle ground between realism and ease... :)

@@Stranger-hb3sn No its not, The whole world is just a empty track from A to B and like a big empty stadium, GTA IV has alot more interiors than GTA V and gives you way more options on missions, GTA V was hyped up to be better than GTA IV only to end up being a immersive downgrade. It also doesn’t matter if GTA Online is a different game, its still shares the same base game and is making GTA V “the best selling game”. IV has better fighting combat, V is just overrated.

Also GTA V is not empty map it has bigger wilderness than cities and in wilderness you can find NPCs hiking, off road racing, dirt bike racing, fishing, camping and have a lot random events and animals also sea life. Reason why is empty it's because GTA IV players only has cities. Also interior GTA V has 113 interior and GTA IV has 89 interior and the missions since the story of GTA V is heist focused V has more approach and plans and 3 characters and preps and more realistic and more fun missions. And combat fighting if it's fist to fist yes i agree GTA V has boring fist to fist but GTA V weapons combat is much better and has more weapons like minigun, grenade launcher and weapons customization is much better in V everything go booms. So idk what are u talking about being "immersive downgrade" And "overrated" Literally every GTA V videos I've seen is GTA IV fanboys commenting their game is ahead of its time and much better

Bruh you do realize in rdr2 you can’t really swim with John because he doesn’t know how to. That’s a detail from the first game. If you play as Arthur Morgan then you would have gave it a respect+. Also I don’t think guarma was the best place to show how to swim.

I think gta 4 was going for a more realistic turn for gta 4 considering it's the first HD 3D gta in the series. With gta 5 however, they went for a more Arcady feel to the game so a lot of crazy and random stuff can happen. My conclusion, gta 4 was testing the realism of the franchise, and gta 5 was testing the silliness and randomness of the franchise so they can find a way to balance things out, thus, read dead redemption 2 was created with a balance of realistic and a Arcady style to it so it's not too bland. This is my opinion.

I love all 4 games and whenever I play them I get lost in the world however if I had to rank them it would be this 1. Red Dead Redemption 2 because it took what was good about all the other rockstar games and made it better 2. Grand Theft Auto 4 all because of what it had at the time it made me feel like I was playing the most realistic game ever. 3. Red Dead Redemption what made me love this game was it’s action. Seriously going into a shootout was so much fun which is why I still come back to it every now and then. 4. Grand Theft Auto 5 now it’s awesome and in my opinion has the best guns and the best heists but due to how the way rockstar has been treating this game it’s lost what made it special to me but it’s still a great game
