Here's my BIG lip balm video. I'm showing you every single formula I have in my collection. I have some of these in multiple shades, but I'm only sharing one of each today. Ultimate lip balm love has to go to the Jack Black lip balm in the original shea butter. It’s the only lip product I’ve used up repurchased time and time again, and he is SO underrated!

@@adrian-rx8rg thanks for watching today. I'm so impressed with the Ole Henriksen lip treatment. It's so long wearing and comfortable. I'm so glad that I picked it up after someone recommended it. It might just unseat my favorite Balm DotCom. I'll have to wait and see how things go. ,🤷‍♀️

I bought plenty of lip glosses & balms during the Ulta and Sephora sales earlier this year (to my surprise each of their own house brands are really great products!) - so I don't currently need lip products but I am definitely going to save this video for reference whenever there's room in my stash to try something new!! 🤩 👍

@@grespinosa I’m always checking out the new lip formulas. Some of these are really lovely, and I’m easily obsessed. I haven’t tried many of the store brands. Maybe it’s time to pick up some Sephora and Ulta lippies.

Lip balm always! My most purchased was the Glossier (coconut and birthday cake) until the Ole ones came out. Now I have those EVERYWHERE! While I own all the flavors, the OG creamsicle one is my fave. I also used to enjoy the Sol de Janiero lip balm, but never looked back after the Ole. I am very tempted by the Eadem - it’ll probably be my next lip purchase. Most days I do a Kaja lip stain with one of the balms over it. Easy and breezy! 💋

I really prefer a lipstick! ❤️ A lip balm is nice but can’t see purchasing the pricey ones. I do own 1 YSL lip shine; honestly just ok. Guess I just prefer lipstick 🤷‍♀️

I get it. The expensive lip balms aren't for everyone. I do love an elevated balmy product. I love the shades I have in all these YSL formulas, so they're some of my most reached for. I also LOVE lipstick, but I'm a lip product junkie. I love it all!

I love the Glossier, including the summer colors. Also love Romand glasting balm and 5he Bare Minerals. I try to avoid any kind of mint or menthol, so I was careful with the Jack Black. The blackberry flavor has no mint and it is a good one.

It was me who recommended the Ole Henrickson ❤ I’m glad you’re liking it! I only have the original orange scent so far. I will probably get the strawberry now too; I didn’t get it originally because I thought the color might be too cool toned for me. I really need to try the Jones Road! Bonnebelle Dr Pepper was my favorite lip product for over a decade 😂 It had the best color, texture and taste! I’m still looking for the perfect dupe for it! I have a couple of the Lancôme balms in my ulta cart right now… I’m glad they’re a little less slippy; I don’t like balms that feel too oily. The YSL volupte is a little too thin/ oily for me. I’m definitely a lip liner + balm person. Great video!

@@lvvl1005 that Ole pout preserve peptide lip treatment is amazing! I would be so excited to try another scent/flavor. I'm really loving mist of these. There are some that would be an instant repurchase while others I'll finish up or let my kids finish them up and I won't repurchase. They're not bad, but they're are ones I like better. I certainly don't need this many, but I really enjoy many of these. Thanks so much for the recommendation on the Ole. I appreciate it!

I adore lipstick, but I’m a gardener so I’m almost always just wearing Jack Black SPF balm! I also love Eco Lips Mongo Kiss balm for everyday, and alternate between Lanolips and Ole Henriksen for nighttime.

I've been loving the Ole Henriksen for nighttime too! I haven't ever had a Lanolips. (gasp!) I know, who am I? Can I even call myself The Lipstick Gal? I just feel like Balm Dotcom covers the bases that Lanolips might. Maybe I'm wrong. If it's less expensive, I might need to give it a try. Balm Dotcom has gone up to $16 a tube. : ( I've never tried the Jack Black balms, but I hear good things. I don't spend as much time in my garden as I want to, but I'm glad you've got a SPF balm that works for you.

@@thelipstickgal ⁠I find the Ole Henriksen comfy anytime, but Lanolips is super thick, in the best possible way, but I don’t care for it during the day. If you decide to try, never pay full price, there are frequent deals at Ulta. I haven’t tried Balm Dot Com yet, but I have the strawberry in my Sephora cart for then the time is right! Also want to try the new Inn Beauty SPF balms since they have a mineral SPF; the Jack Blacks definitely have chemical SPF taste, though some flavors are better than others.

I'll have to pick up a Lanolips next time there's a sale. I love knowing how one product stacks up against another one. I'm always curious about the comparison. : )

Hi Rebecca, thank you for this video, it is sooo useful! I am really tempted to try one of the YSL balms now, preferably in a cool red shade. Don't know why, but I expected to see Gucci voile lipstick here 😂

I was going to put it in here, but Gucci actually makes a balm and it isn't the Voile formula. I don't have one of the Gucci balms, so I didn't include the brand at all. Sorry. I really like the YSL Candy Glow. I was in Sephora yesterday, and swatched all of the shades. Most of them have a slight staining effect because they're pH adjusting, but none of them turn bright pink on me. That's huge. I might be willing to pick up another one of the Loveshine Candy Glow. I already love the Candy Glaze and the new Loveshine. I wish they had chosen a different name for the Candy Glow. It's so confusing to combine the names of 2 other formulas into the new formula. Boo! Just look for the light pink metallic packaging.

Thank you for the roundup! Just fyi the Nordstrom sale has a two pack of the YSL love shine for $60. Trying so hard to resist but man I love this formula. I have tried the new LE but I think I prefer the YSL.

Hi Lipstick Gal! You are the balm analyst I can rely on. I am awaiting my 2nd purchase of Blood Orange in addition to HB other shade Lychee Fruit. I will try Romand also. I just received & am loving from INNBeauty, Sun balm with Spf 30. I think they will be my holy grail especially because of the spf. I don't recall if you reviewed them. I hope they will have more shades in the future. I got Rosy Brown & Latte. Great video today.😊

Hello, Rebecca! Earlier I wanted to buy the balm from Clarins, but after I’ve watched your video with comparison of different sort of balms, I’m really curious to try the Lancôme one. Love the brand, their lipsticks, foundation. By the way have you ever tried Givenchy rose perfecto? Heard good things about this liquid lip balm, but haven’t tried any of the shade of it. @@polinabarysheva226 thanks so much for watching today. If you want a lip balm with nearly no color, you would like the one from Clarins. If I'm spending clarins prices, I'm getting the lip oil. I haven't tried the Givenchy Rose Perfecto balm because I didn't like the 3 different lip products I purchased from the brand. I didn't want to spend that luxury price for the rose balm and not love it. Thanks so much for watching today. I hope this helps you get the perfect lip balm for you.

@@ericakershaw4705 they both last a long time, but I think I'd have to go with the EADAM. It stays on so long even when I'm having a cup of coffee, or drinking from my water bottle. They're both very hydrating, but I love the feel of the ChouChou Softening Lip Balm. It's cushy any plush on the lips in a different way than the Ole Henriksen. To be clear, I love them both and I'm splitting hairs.

I am definetely a lipstick person. I tried the LE balm and I am not sold, it is ok, the texture is thin, the colour is nice but I was expecting more nourishment. And the price is high so it will not be a repurchase. Actually I found the kitten mishief lipstick from the same brand better for my lips and it lasts much longer. Well if you don't try, you don't know😊 I am curious about the Fenty glow in stick form. Did you try that one?

Love the ROM&ND Glasting Balms Veiled Rose & Buffy Coral Scotch Nude 🤍LANCOME 30/36/ 64 🤍 these are my favorite but the minty taste could go with iconic nude is perfection! HOURGLASS Rise and Rouse are my 2 fav shades now these make my lips plump and juicy looking!!! Glassy goodness!!!! 🤍🤍 I like the shade of the Kylie one in 619 She’s Lovely I like the Bare Minerals if I had a better color it’s kinda orangey in friendship not my fav I like the CLARINS and I don’t like the flavor at all I got the pink one it feels great but I won’t buy another one neither lol 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍 I didn’t like the Ole Hendricks one I got the strawberry too and it made gooey lines in the corner of my mouth not crazy about the flavor The L’Oréal ones are good too floral taste tho 200 / 130 same shades as 30/36 Lancome but different formula Love the YSL if I had better shades 15 showcasing nude in candy glaze is good I don’t like the Tarte ones very much

@@marionallen2222 I loved hearing your thoughts on so many of these. I LOVE a lip balm! I had the same trouble with the ole henriksen until I stopped applying as much. I'm a chronic over applier. 🤷‍♀️
