@@laurenfosters8487 You should be careful about telling people when your leave for vacation(unless someone will be home). My pastors house was robbed once because people knew when he would be gone and I have heard other similar stories were robbed because others knew the house would be empty.
Congrats to your family on the adoption and of course yay to Disney!!!! We are in the midst of adopting our son through foster care. When I would hear folks say it was a happy but sad event because there's a loss i used to think, I'm not sad my baby gets to be my forever son. Now however that the bio dad has surrendered his rights and moms has been terminated I'm understanding that loss. Its truly is a bug bag of emotions. Thank you for sharing your special day with us all.❤
It's SUCH a mix bag of feelings. I can tell you from my own kids' perspectives that it was either adoption or being forced to age out of foster care. Foster care hurts. Removal hurts. Drug addiction hurts. Mental illness hurts. It all hurts. The NEED for adoption HURTS but it's been the best end for my kiddos who's parent's parental rights were terminated.
