I met LMA in your beginning... I saw things "change" and I honestly felt it without knowing what had happened... I dropped off quite a bit in the last few years because of it. I’m so happy for you. I started painting with you in 2019. As a woman in my 70s living in South Africa there was no way I could subscribe to the boxes or buy supplies from you so I really appreciated the free tutorials and outlines. Just loved the happy vibe! I was so sad to see things deteriorating recently - Keenan leaving, lots of complaints about late or no delivery of orders, or badly packed orders, items missing or broken. This could not be the Sarah we all know and love, something must be going on. I’m so glad you’ve got the company back and can run it your way.

I am so happy for you both!! You have always been the beating heart of LMA. Sarah, you were my company every sleepless night during the pandemic after my daughter went to bed. I didn't leave my house or yard for almost 18 months because I was high risk and trying to stay alive. I started with some Prangs, dollar store watercolor paper, and you as my teacher. I painted every day, and am still painting. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You helped me keep going during the very worst of times.
Congrats! Your company brought me back to art and now I’m in school to hopefully become an artist full time. I’d lost art for a long time because I didn’t think I was good enough and I didn’t think you could make a living from it. I came across your company 6ish years ago and tried it out. I am sobbing with joy for you! I can’t even begin to tell you what you have meant to me. You are what kept me sane during Covid. You taught me how to watercolor without fear. Just bought the digital box! I love these paintings! My husband got me a subscription to LMA for Christmas 2019 on my request. I’ve always been creative and wanted to get into Watercolor. Here I am 4 years later with an Etsy shop and family and friends who ask me to paint for them. It has been a wonderful outlet for me. I thank you, Sarah and former LMA staff for the love and care you put into making the world a better place with art!
To me, since my art has started, you were the first RU-vid channel I watched to learn painting and how it makes you feel. I always thought of you when I thought of Let’s Make Art, I thought of you. I had a heart attack halfway through my 3rd year (of many years K-HS) teaching Kindergarten. The school decided to put me back in HS, art was added as alternative certificate. I had to have a crash course in art, therefore, RU-vid tutorials. I learned enough of watercolor to get the students started. I am proud you are back as owner.

My husband couldn't be at home for the live announcement, so I waited until he came home so we could watch it together. Together we clapped and cheered when both of you, Sarah and Michael came into the screen view and made your announcement. I started painting with you in 2021, but had to stop for two years to nurse my husband's Grandmother until she eventually passed away about eight months ago. It was very a very emotional and painfully sad time for us. She always gave me such support as i was learning and loved when I painted something new. I only have just started back painting into the backlog of subscription boxes I have from Let'sMakeArt. My husband told me he likes hearing me when I make the oath to "promise to have fun" and "not to compare myself", both things I sometimes have a hard time doing when I'm painting! But it will be so much easier now with you, Sarah and Michael at the helm again!
