Hi! 👋 There are many different types of BJDs, different companies, different sizes and I can tell for sure that some dolls are more sturdy or more fragile than other dolls. Resin ball-jointed dolls CAN break or get damaged when they fall or handled roughly, so it is always important to be as careful as possible. Also UV light (direct sun light) is their biggest enemy. Resin can change the color quickly when the doll is permanently or often exposed to direct sun light. In general I consider BJDs as art toys for adults which can be handled roughly but at the same time they should be handled with a lot of care. It is hard to describe. I hope you will have the possibility to hold a BJD with your own hands one day. This will make you aware of how sturdy yet fragile they are. 😊
