The Biggest Crappie Caught On Camera During The Late Spawn/Mississippi 

Hello my RU-vid family, finally a fishing trip its been awhile but I'm back. decided to go fish Ross Barnett in search of some big spawning female crappie and did I find some.. most of the crappie I caught were in open water hanging shallow in the water column.. the crappie has yet to spawn on the Ross for some reason, but they are ready to explode with eggs. The crappie are very spooky they did a ton of running making it a little difficult to get on them. The method I came up with was to run them down stop and drop on them that seem to work well. The Salt & Pepper CT has been the ticket with a 1/16oz green head. I also used 16 & 17ft rods with 10lb test line to get these big girls to bite.
