Can you imagine if The Wedge was a Right? would you like it more or less? Decided to switch it around give us a different look at Newport Beach's favorite wave THE WEDGE. This was the swell from the 4th of July 2020. Also pretty funny to imagine JOB as a Goofy Foot? Hopefully we get another big swell like this in 2022!

My friend Nui moved to Orange County from Hawaii. The only time he'd go the beach was when the Wedge was big. Dude would bodysurf it with no fins, catch great rides, get pounded, then come in laughing like it was nothing.

Nowadays, they call that spot, "Cylinder's" in the 80's, we called it, "Gravel's" because of all the pulverized shells in the surf.

We used to live in Huntington Beach! My husband proposed to me at the Wedge! It’s our spot! It’s always the first place we go when we visit!

Looking north to south where as the wedge builds up south to north. Interesting. Does sort of rebalance the videos. Now I wonder if the best swells come from the north or the south. Is there even a good north swell at the wedge?

Thats not even fair man..but entertaining as a right. You know there hasn't been a good right wedge in socal since South Jetty in Ventura Harbor. Buffoons decided to build another jetty ANd extend the breakwater which killed the spot, but I'm tellin ya we had some days like this in Ventura prior to 2000.

What the heck are all of those guys going swimming in waves like that anyways? How in the heck did the lifeguards get all of those life-saving Boards out to each one of them also? You got to hand it to them because they are trying so hard to make it back to Shore and some of them are even standing up on those life preservers to try to get out of the water but sadly it looks like most of them never made it ashore. They really should not be going swimming in waves like that. What if the lifeguards were not there to throw them all of those life saving boards? They probably would drown.
