@@what2636 I am in LA USA. Right by Texas. We just ride western and there are a lot of horses here. Mostly quarter horses. Good to hear from you. My descent is IRISH.
I think Emporio is going to a different barn as they don’t have anymore stalls. I think that he mentioned it a few videos back. Or maybe I read it as a reply to a comment on Instagram.
@@juni_pearl_9591 didn't hear about the other stall but I wondered how they will Manage a stallion with the mares around. Sounds reasonable to me with having Emporio in another stable
K. native Rezz Because he's worked hard to develop and keep his channel going and as a result he gains followers which means he has some influence. As a result, sponsors want to support him to get their products out and in front of an equestrian audience (everyone gets something out of the arrangement). Keeping a channel going also takes a lot of time in planning, filming videos, editing and then engaging with his audience. Sponsorship is a benefit of creating this channel and putting in the effort. I'm glad that all of the work he puts into this channel has resulted in some personal benefit. I also do not know what his personal circumstances are, but I'm sure he works hard in his endeavors. You could absolutely do the same, using your phone to make videos and perhaps get to where he is someday. Anything is possible, cheers!
Shelly Kennedy I was thinking the thing I would like put everything down gently and carefully but Matt just like fling this over here that can go over there 😂😂😂
I’m so gentle with my new stuff until it goes on a horse and I remember what it’s for. I get it, its respect for the sponsor, and the party giving the gift, but if a leather halter can’t be tossed to the side without being “ruined”, it doesn’t belong on a horse! 😄
In my opinion (because we all have one) I've learned with growing horses -- especially stallions -- that it's 100% ideal to keep the diet simple. Supplements can muddy things up. If your feed is as amazing as you have advertised, supplements are excessive. Helps to let their bodies come into their own before you begin accessing what they are missing. A lot of those "preventative" things we think we are helping with, more often then not lead to bigger issues.
Watching this video..I remember doing the shopping for everything I needed for my horse..many years ago! What fun I had! Matt, you have earned the money to be able to buy all you did!! In all the videos of yours that I have seen, the love and care you give your horses..they do deserve the best you are able to give them. ❤️😊
You seem so excited, good for you. Your sponsors are amazing and know how to network though social media. So so cool to be able to bring your horse home with all his new stuff. Can’t wait for the videos, have fun!
Who else questions where all his money comes from😂First he buys a stallion then he sends him to training, then he go buys like about a $10,000 tack haul😂
Modelling, runs a company, and sponsors. He mentioned it in his video reading hate comments I believe. Guess it would help a lot if people stopped drooling over all his stuff and actually started paying attention to what he says.
i love how throughout the video when he got extra things he was like “so chase can have this one too!” it was so sweet to consider his other horses with the haul too
I'm so excited for you and Emporio! I'm laughing to myself watching you unpack this- you just unwrapped more rugs for a horse you don't have yet than my 2 have had collectively in 8 years. I'm glad you seem so genuinely excited to have him- best of luck on your journey together!
Gell halfpads provide a lot of inconsistency and instability under the saddle. Imagine standing on that and how wobbly it would be. Maybe better to stick with a fleece halfpad for such a young and sensitive horse... The idea of gel pads is that it will conform to the horse and stop your saddle from slipping, however if your saddle fits correctly it won’t slip and if jumping, the use of a breastplate will also stop this problem. Fleece pads also conform to the horse and provide shock absorbtion, however unlike a gell pad they do not provide unnecessary movement and keep contact consistent. Not hate in anyway, love your vids just thought this may be useful info
Brook Zarb I am fully aware that is comfortable for the horse however, the point I am making is that regardless of comfort due to the pad being gell, it wobbles with any slight shift of the riders weight. This is a very young horse who is clearly green and sensitive so therefore should have stability and consistency under the saddle. The gell pad moves with horse meaning it is comfortable as you said, however the particles in a gell pad move vigorously so therefore creates unnecessary and unwanted movement. The horse is obviously sensitive so will in turn feel these movements and may misinterpret what he is being asked to do or in turn learn the wrong cues due to the excess movement, meaning that when the saddle is eventually stabalised the day to day forward cues and more complex ones like changing legs, diagonal etc will feel entirely foreign. You are entitled to your opinion and I have no problem with you disagreeing however your point of the gell pad being comfortable is entirely irrelevant considering that saying it is comfortable has nothing to do with my comment. Studies have proven that I am right, however I would think common sense would also make my comment abundantly clear.
Most people the the gel pad he featured is to be used on top on the saddle pad, which means it’s very unlikely that the horse instability from the rider unless it’s on the skin. Charlotte Dujarden has used an acavallo gel pad for all of Valegro’s career with no issues.
Thanks for explaining each thing and sad people aren’t more happy for you and what you do! Gorgeous and love that you love horses and dogs!!! Love watching your videos!!!
I agree with you on how much you love back on track. Back on track is literally the best thing in the whole entire world. I use it on my horse as well and he has done amazing with it. Love your channel!! ❤️❤️
I’m excited about the back on track collection! I use so many of their products already and I find not only for my horses, retired and younger and growing, but for myself aswell!!
You seem so genuine and grateful for everything you have.. honestly I wouldnt watch anyone else opening up a horse "stuff" haul video. I DO NOT OWN A HORSE or obviously know anything other than I think they are beautiful animals and watching you with yours is so entertaining. I can't wait to see Emporio and all the family together.
We have two horses from Spain aswell and we put warmer Rugs on them then on the other two cause they get so thick fur if you don’t and they hate if you shave it
You are so lucky! Just getting one of these items would be incredible! You clearly work hard for your sponsorship and that is admirable! #TheHarderYouWorkTheLuckierYouGet
Holy cow back on track hooked you up! Love back on track and it looks like they must be an amazing company to work with! Maybe one day I'll have a big enough audience to collaborate with such great companies 🤞 Looking forward to seeing your collection with them; that's amazing!
WOW, not only does all your horse 'goodies' look amazing, they are also built for comfort.. It shows just how much you care for your horses Matt.. Bravo young man, I am really enjoying all your posts and look forward to watching many more.. Best wishes to you Matt, Jesse, Chase, Imporio and 'lil man' the shetland pony, his name has just popped out of my head.. AHH you just said it Lil Bear... all the best for your amazing future, from Wales UK.. :D
My goodness me... i have never seen this much stuff in one haul 😍 Damn lucky Matt & Emporio!! Olive green is going to match the grey so nicely. Can’t wait to see everything on him
You need another tack room now Matt LOL Shopping for your horse is the best and most fun thing ever, I think that's why horse people tend to have more stuff for their horses then they probably ever need! So exciting can't wait until he comes!
EMILIE GUILLON - Equitation that sound really fun but because I've had him for 10 years now and the owners before us had him a very long time to so he's quite old so idk if he will enjoy it but I'm going to try it out because u never know thanks for the idea! x🙂
Holy Crapola! You seriously need racks to keep your stock organized, Matt. The matching sets are amazing. Can’t wait to see it all on Chase and Emporio. You and he are very fortunate to be associated with such high quality and elite level sponsors. I’m green, green, green with envy!
I love watching your videos. I love horses and horseback riding. I used to take lessons when I was a kid and I spent every free minute at the stall. I also worked at a big horse stall for a year. They had therapeutic horseback riding lessons for physical and mentally disabled children. I think horses and animals are so healing for us humans. I miss those days. I hope I can go horseback riding again in future. 😊
Today my new riding hat arrived! i was really hoping it didnt make my head look like a giant mushroom but it does ! so im sending it back ! at more cost but good news is i moved my horse from my home to a really nice yard today where we will be focusing on training for showjumping and he will have some horsey friends. love all your new stuff Matt and good luck with the journey from Portugal with Emporio. Cant wait to see how he gets on with all the others !
Thank you for sharing. I am always interested in products others have found they trust. Back on track has my favorite pad, although Stubben's Equi-soft girth is the one I always choose first.
The amount of leather equestrian use is crazy...I'm an equestrian myself and I'm not vegan or anything but this tack haul is like at least 4 dead animals for all that leather
Look into 'Wintec'. Not only is it animal free, it's also really good. There is also a nice bridle 'equizaum' made from biothane which is really comfy, customisable and all around brilliant.
andi_ish Don’t have a horse myself but the smell of leather saddlery is the best so I’d also smell a new piece of equipment, probably even an old piece.
Me: really impressed with owning a $50 dollar bridle. Also Me: *Puts Most Of This In Wishlist* Also Also Me: Can’t afford anything Also Also Also Me: #BudgetEquestrianLife Also Also Also Also Me: TACK HAULS YESSSSSSS Also Also Also Also Also Me: Fabulous Video Matt! (I’m expecting pay check) Also Also Also Also Also Also Me: run out of ideas, also why u still reading this lmao
The saddle looks amazing. I think you are quite tall? What size saddle do you ride in? I have struggled with finding saddles here in the US big enough for me. Update: I looked at their website and they only go to a size 18? That's disappointing. Still gorgeous saddles, though.
I can't for the video of when you get Emporio. I am so happy for you Matt. And Jessa will spoil him too. The 2 of you love each other's horse's it's good to watch the bond you all have. Xx
