@@rufatimanli9966 yea that's why the FIA changed regulations to make Mercedes slower and suddenly Red Bull became the fastest car of the grid not because they made a better car but because of what the FIA did. That's why the FIA also banned engine modes, the legal DAS, and disqualified Hamilton from Brazil over a damaged wing while they let Red Bull fix Verstappen's wing in Mexico under parc fermé conditions. And that's why FIA's racing director Michael Masi broke the rules in Abu Dhabi just to make Verstappen win the title. You're so right, they're doing everything to make Hamilton win, right? 😂🤡
Remember the last time a driver said he just brake tested me? The year was 2017 and the driver's form slid in the following years. And it happened again this year. We have some interesting years ahead.
Interesting how you didn't mention the Mexico City GP at all, where Checo managed to get on the podium at his home race and everybody lost their minds.
I would like to say "Watch this age badly." but every day I´m getting more and more worried, that 2022 will be a complete competiton killer and we´ll have one team dominating with everyone else fighting for P3.
That’s the only thing that frustrates me about the regulations next year. The current regulations are finally working for them to made redundant by next season. I pray the regulations don’t make things worse...
@@GTFan8899 I forgot who said it, but someone in the fia predicted there would be a 1.5 second gap from the fastest car to the slowest which is very small
When they dont mention: Alonso podium in Qatar William's scoring points Sainz outscoring Leclerc Perez home podium in Mexico Bottas's longest pit stop in Monaco
Yeah it will I loved how they glossed over the decision making by Massi that secured Max the title pretty convinient for Formula 1 not shed light on the most contraversial decisions Massi has ever made.
Yes as a biggest sport manupluation in the history. By the way I am not a lewis fan. I'm watching f1 more than 20 years and unfortunately this is not the sport we loved :( .
@@Lukas-dn9kf Have u ever seen selected cars by the race director to be unlapped ? , Only the cars between Max and Lewis I would call that manipulation of the regulation that allowed Max to win the championship.
@@GD-ue4ty Worse than seasons with the dwc wrapped up with 4 races to go? It was an ending that was extremely controversial and controversy gets remembered for a long time.
If I had a nickel for everytime Lewis was involved in last lap overtakes to decide the WDC I would have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.
I'm so happy to say that I watched every single race this year. Just about every single lap. This year was absolutely amazing and it will go down in history for one of the most entertaining seasons ever. No matter who you're rooting for, the action and entertainment was top notch. Happy to have witnessed history! This season is one I'll be telling my grandkids about.
They glossed over a number of things. Like saying Lewis locked up in Baku because he was too eager to pass Perez. It was because of a setting being wrong
@@zetto156 it was a lock up because the "magic" sets the brake bias mostly to the front which makes the car easier to lock up and not slow down as much as a rearward bias
I noticed too. Some things are framed in a certain way in my opinion. As you said, Lance and Max didn't crash into a wall themselves, likewise Lewis didn't make a mistake because he was eager to pass Perez. Small framing happening in pretty much every race. It really frustrates me.
because the teams were messing with the tyre pressures, the Baku Blowouts were on the teams bending the rules to get an advantage, not pirelli... or did you just forget what the FIA/Stewards findings were?
Exciting and dramatic season. As a Lewis fan, I'm happy for Max. His first meant more in the grand scheme of things. I hated Masi for the safety car cheese. In hindsight, the season was so chaotic. It's only fitting to end with Chaos.
Lekan Idowu i admire your comment and cander, pity other hamilton fans only see a poster boy and nothing else, drivers, skill, strategy, technology, NONE, just that poster .......PLUS, it wasnt a given that max could have got him in just one lap but to be fair, hamilton cheated at the get go by gaining the position plus 1.5secs ILLEGALLY on lap one then causing their own loss at the end by refusing to cocede track position twice. Also worth noting Wolffs inexcusable behaviour during giovanazi's VSC when he was screaming at Masi to not send out the safety car so as to keep hamiltons advantage, despite the car being in a very dangerous place for the marshalls. I guess the FIA and Masi had had just about enough from mercedes at that point being that 90 percent of decisions had been in their favour all year. Hamilton=fast driver in the fastest car, Verstappen=fastest driver in a fast car
@@ianhuntington9056 Thanks. I respect your opinion but I'm a Lewis fan with similar bias for my favourite as you. Max and Redbull were not saints as well. It's sports, I enjoyed the competition. F1 was something to look forward to during these tough pandemic years. I'm not gonna dive into the rabbit hole of inconclusive debates. Congratulations to max for joining the greats. Looking forward to next season. 👏🏿 The show goes on!.
I remember the Bahrain GP like it was yesterday. The fact that the FIA changed the track limits mid-race was just ridiculous and was one of the first signs that we need a new race director
You mean "New stewards or no stewards". They've messed up the entire season by constantly alternating perspective on using rules and penalty's. They were the biggest influence on this entire season, Masi just had the last race where his decision turned the tables.
@@gamm8939 all incidents, especially track limits, are judged by the stewards. Masi has just been the messenger, that's a system the new FIA president wants to change. He mentioned it in his first interview: there are to many persons judging and influencing the rules.
@@gamm8939 Masi doesn't actually have any authority in these situations. He's just telling the teams what he thinks they should do to avoid getting penalised by the stewards
@@Xardom Yeah he doesnt make the decisions. But he sets the track limits. Charlie used to do it all the time. Stewards don't interfere with that. Also, its the race directors duty to refer incidents to the stewards. the fact that masi didn't even refer the T4 incident in Brazil between Ham and Max tells you he cares more about that show than the integrity of it
Hamilton is not the only who has broken records this year. Verstappen broke the record of the most podiums in a season by Schumacher, Vettel, and Hamilton
@@LooseWheelFilms The only race he finished outside of the podium was Hunagry, where he had a broken floor. I think his 18 podiums definitely have a lot of merit.
@@LooseWheelFilms With that logic, number of wins and poles won’t matter since there are less races in the past. 18 podiums in a season is mightily impressive considering the record hasn’t been broken since 2002
The russia story is so sad for lando, even more sad than in the moment because not only was he so close, the one-two was a race before that so the expectations were even higher than usual. heartbreaking and lets hope he gets it next year
I actually only just saw the post-race radio of Lance in Turkey last year, kind of the same thing happened to him after a maiden pole (finished 9th). Anyways Lando’s maiden W on its way next season!
As soon as Bahrain was over I knew we had a fight on our hands, little did we know it would come down to the very last lap of the last race of the season so much frustration and upset finally relieved, being a max fan I’m equally grateful that Lewis gave us such an amazing title fight. what a year, bring on 2022
I think F1 needs to look at this video again. This recap is Lewis Lewis Lewis Lewis Lewis Lewis Lewis verstappen Lewis Lewis Lewis Lewis Lewis Lewis verstappen. Max won the wdc not Lewis. Where is France where is Austria where is Stirian where is Mexico. This is a very bad recap. Again is this F1 a british sport or a global sport? Is it the open british championship?
Funny part is that Max was just unlucky like in Baku, where as Hamilton made a mistake in Baku. And in Silverstone... well everyone knows and Monza as well. And in Hungary Bottas was bowling with Red Bulls. Doesn't matter, what people think about last race drama as, when looking at whole season Max really did deserve to win.
@@frozello14 Thats a dumb way to look at it. Then what's the point of the last race. If one has to rewrite the rules to allow Max to win the last race then its not a true champion. That is the fact. Max was gifted the win by Masi because he was going to lose the race. Masi was fired for manipulating the result. So Max lost the championship and so doesnt matter what he did for the season. Remember, Max and Lewis were going in tied. And Lewis led for 57 of the 58 laps until Masi helped Max by changing the F1 rules.
Seriously. I don’t know how people don’t see the bias. Of course British people are going to favor British drivers. Why would they no lol. So it makes it annoying when they say biased things during controversial moments. I’m looking at you brundle. You need to tone down your Lewis fanboy mode when commentating a full grid race
For anyone complaining about Max having a free tyre stop in Saudi don't forget that Lewis had his car fixed and put on to the lead lap in Imola during the red flag there.
@@_Y.official I mean, Imola literally decided the championship too? It's just a big of a deal. Like Hamilton Locking up and throwing away a free win in Baku, that is MASSIVE. Imagine if that had been the final race of the season. There's so many moments this season that would've been dramatic were they the final race.
@@stellar6643 Here we go again... Many ex or current racing drivers said Silverstone was a racing incident (including Alonso, who supports Max) and can you give me any proof to show that Mercedes cheated in Brazil on Sunday?
Nahh, Jeddah was nuts all the way through. Abu Dhabi was mildly interesting on lap one, and massively controversial on the last lap lol. For me, Jeddah was the pinnacle of insanity.
This season was simply amazing with an epic title fight, but I think we can all agree that the FIA needs some changes for next year. They need to make clear decisions that can make the sport easier to understand for everyone.
When Lewis repaired his wrecked car under the red flag at Imola they said nothing, but when Max changed tyres in Saudi Arabia it was a huge thing 😆 I love Crofty and Brundle, but they have to be less of a fanboy during races. Specially Brundle.
@@hdr_diamondz he had repairs at Imola and the red flag saved him. In Hungary he "repaired" his car that was destroyed by Bottas...how could they even say something
For real! Lewis messed up an crashed himself and got a free wing change. I thought it was just me that thought brundle was a Lewis fanboy. Seems to badmouth max a lot more. I remember Lewis saying they were trying to manipulate the race in Saudi because of the red flag lol. He tried to create a narrative that they didn’t want him to win because of the rainbow helmet. No you idiot, it’s because they need to fix the barrier!
Even worse: Lewis fake surprise that Max could have a tyre change under red ("that's unbelievable man"), while he has changed his tyres _and_ his rear wing under red ...
For the entire post race show I was convinced GP was on the radio shouting to Max, I felt that. Only to find out it was actually Albon, I felt that even more..
Albon's "OHHH MY LOORD MAX" is one if the best things that happened this season. It gives me goosebumps every single time. Definitely the best team radio of the season.
We all are hoping that Lewis Hamilton stay in formula 1, I am hoping that Lewis Hamilton come back to formula 1 that is what a true champion and a fighter do, we all need Lewis Hamilton to come back and we all know that Lewis Hamilton did not lose the race he clearly won the race, because the race was fix to allow Max Verstappen to portray him self as the champion for the F.I.A marketing purposes and for the F.I.A flagship, that is the reason why the F.I.A fix the race to make Max Verstappen win the 2021 Abu Dhabi formula 1 Grand Prix race, we do not need Michael Masi to come back to fix no more race, and you say that Michael Masi was under so much pressure and he make a bad miss take, then you go on to say that Michael Masi have all the power to make the decision that he made, and I say to you that Michael Masi did not have the right to fix the race to suit Max Verstappen and Cristian Honer and the F.I.A, that is what you call been bias and one sided, Michael Masi as the race director should be neutral and impartial he should red flag the race, he can not say that he was providing us entertainment or amusement, that is not what he is there for, Michael Masi gave Max Verstappen a big unfair advantage over Lewis Hamilton that means that Michael Masi was taking side and he was not been neutral
Man I cried watching this. This year has been very difficult for all of us and I could not be more grateful to F1 and everyone involved for providing such an amazing and thrilling season, thank you guys.
i just realised, that the incident that caused max to give hamilton the position in Jeddah, is the EXACT same as hamilton in abu dhabi. But somehow hamilton was allowed to continue
Watching this video, you should know that Verstappen deserves his title after all the bad luck he had and terrible decisions made against him this season
The best thing in F1 since the Rosberg's championship! Max driving a inferior car made a super championship in 2022! A fresh air in F1. Lewis, Toto and Mercedes was a shame on the radio in Abu Dhabi and FIA prize days later. The world celebrates Max world Championship! Regards from Brazil.
Let’s not forget, Hamilton and Toto said it for many seasons that they wanted more competition. They wanted more wheel to wheel action. In 2021, they got their wish. And Max brought home the win. For those who critic Masi decision, I am the opposite, I applaud Masi for giving us a race to the finish line rather than a safety car to finish the season. You if must blame someone then blame the over-cautious strategist who didn’t let Hamilton pit. Sure Hamilton could have end up behind, but if he had fresher tires, he could have overtaken Max. Anyway, the better driver won the championship.
@@Garage_Distinct_Clips Actually not, there are some tracks were their car was brilliant and even better than the mercedes, but over the whole season it is proved that the mercedes was faster.
It still gives me shivers when I hear Albon (edit: OH IT WASN'T HIM)scream for Max... I am still not over this season. I watch race recaps, highlights, last 5 laps of X gp, stories, interviews, team radio compilations, etc like everyday...
seeing the fight back between Max and Hamilton in Bahrein, Max was clearly ahead mid corner and he still had to give the position back, due to 4 wheels outside the white line, very very weird
Well tbh I saw the onboards during quali and he was absolutely on the limit man, as a Lewis fan i was like please don't crash cause he was inch perfect everywhere until ofc he crashed. But that lap gave me goosebumps. Say what you want max is top tier legend in the making.

@@therockdwarfmockdwarf1476 You think he wouldn't do 5 more places for the reminder of the race? And as we saw the cars were almost equal all season only at the end Mercedes pulled through and showed they deserve the WCC
@@nikolaypanayotov2995 they definitely deserved the wcc. But I’m not talking throughout the season, Hamilton’s times were way faster than anyone else on the grid, his new engine had a huge role in that. An I’m not sure whether he would’ve. 5 more cars to get past on the start would mean that it probably would have taken him 1/2 laps to get past depending on his start, by then a gap would’ve already begun to form between all the different packs. I think he probably would’ve gotten P2 but I could be wrong
Absolutely amazing season. Imola, Baku, Paul Ricard, Silverstone, Budapest, Zandvoort, Monza, Sochi, Interlagos, Jeddah, Abu Dhabi - a lot of great races and moments in this season.
Best season since I started watching regularly in 2013. As a Lewis fan, I was excited to see him finally have a real challenge on his hands again. Congrats to Max on his championship! Well deserved despite what people say. (But Masi still needs to go)
@@thebarcaboardroom406 we consider the rest to not exist. I personally believe that while Verstappen was denied points in incidents like Silverstone and Hungary, Lewis deserved Abu Dhabi. Max deserves the championship tho
So happy I have witnessed this incredible season, and funny enough it's my first F1 season (actually started from Silverstone but that's when things began to get spicy) Anyway, extremely happy for Max, a truely deserving champion through out the whole season
Only people who think it's manipulated really need a different view of the entire season, otherwise they'll have to look for another sport (maybe chess, checkers, open water swimming, cricket). All other drivers are seriously disadvantaged compared to Lewis, so they have more right to speak than this troublemaker. I can be very brief about whether Lewis should hang up his helmet: Yes, that is best for himself, the sport and for the public in general (more young talent competing against each other, which also creates new rivalries); The sport waits for no one, so take the train 😅.
If you ever needed any proof how bias F1 is, this video is basically 80% how great Hamilton did, while Verstappen won the championship and had many great races. Basically ALL stories are told from Hamiltons perspective. Incredible.....
It's sad really, also because it seems like it's mostly the Brits that see it this way. I get the impression that most F1 fans are happy with Max and done with Hamilton. Wonder why they still push this narrative... 🤔
I am a big MV fan but I think they did a great job with this video. Hamilton and Verstappen both deserved to win the championship, Max got it, so for me it is very fair to acknowledge Lewis performance. I'm convinced if Hamilton won the title this video would be a little bit more pro Verstappen.
@@RogerKeulen It was won during the season, not at the last race. For example in Spain, Lewis had the better tire strategy, just like Max in France, but I kinda get what you mean
Yes he was unlucky could have been an easy P2. Max was set to take pole position though in the second Q3 quali lap but had to abort it due to red flag caused by Leclerc
This vid is trash, they mostly showed Lewis' outstanding performances, like non of Max. They made it seem like Lewis was JUST outpacing Leclerc, not even mentioning the engine cuts. They didn't mention Carlos' and Lando's incredible performances in the first season half. What a Bad way to narrate für season. You can do better FOM
The best about this season 2022 is that Checo exposed who really RB and Max colors are. last year's Horner and Max been playing the roll of victimized and Horner has been very rude and unprofessional with the rest of the teams and specially with Hamilton, is obviously that Horner has something personal against him and Toto.
Hamilton going from last to first in Brazil just shows how pointless penalties are when your car is so far and away over the rest of the field. There's basically zero risk to putting in a new engine.
Ye. Use too many engines should result in constructors championship points deducted. Though only if it wasn't damaged by another team crashing into you.
Yeah and sprint race will just make it easier for leading cars because they have 30 something laps on Saturday to make as many places possible and then full race, so then they say Lewis was from last to first in Brazil. Not really he was from 10 to first in a car which was 25km faster on straights then RB and rest of the field.
You know the British bias is strong with this video when the Hamilton moments dominate the highlights and even that non-race in Spa made it just because of Russell, but Max’s triple header wins in France and Austria don’t even get a single mention.
Hamilton had all the best moments and drives Do you expect them to show max running 10 secs ahead of the field cause he has the fastest car It just shows there is a level Hamilton has that max hasn't touched yet
