Good old coin for the brake switch :D If anyone wonders , the coin replaces a little rubber that pushes on the brake switch so you have brake lights , otherwise they stay on full time

Coin on brake pedal is to keep brake lights off. I remember my zenki z31 had that issue and that was my fix too.

I just have to say. this car has come together with a really random assortment of parts and that turbo is killer. I love it haha

I normally use a ten bolt and nut when the grumit dry rots.

Sam u need to alloy tug weld. I'm in Australia on the Goldy. Next time your in town give me 2-3 hours I will teach you how to tig cooler piping and you can take it from there. Honestly it's something better done on the job. Alternative buy a tig... Buy a length of alloy tube. Start cutting ..start practicing

Coin is welded here to engage the brake lamp switch. When the rubber one perishes, the brake lights will stay on and drain the battery. Old car stuff..

Metal coin is for the break lights so when you let off it doesn’t stay on … plastic ones break after time so coins work perfect

Dont cut the fenders ,get some wheels that fit. In that way you wont have any problems if you need to transport the car to. Tires not hitting the side guards of the platform.

Sam, it was always a 5 cent piece for me. I remember trying to get to this piece on an N14 Pulsar, fornicatingly impossible without disassembling the whole dash assembly. As for the brake pedal, I prefer to use the auto pedal in my (manual) Sunny's, as it made it easier to left foot brake (Burnouts) & there was room enough. Could have been a cheaper way to do it.

I think making the front fenders FRP is a must, the rear should utilize fitted wheels. No cutting. No extra $$$ on over fenders which would be damaged in the first couple of tandems.

yup.. same like the hondas where the brake switch nipple , when the rubber falls off, will go conveniently right thru the hole that the rubber got retained with, which would make the pedal not push the switch when you are not braking, which leaves your brake light on killing your battery. note: if you are single and independant, its pretty difficult ( too much work) to press the brake pedal and at the same time check to see if they are working properly when you press and release it. But after you go thru the headache/hassle/inconvenience of finding out your battery is dead , spending money on a new one which you didnt budget for, think that you fixed your problem only to find out at the worst time that your veh wont start again, getting it towed and there goes another expense you didnt budget for , do elec diag on your car and see that it is charging fine, scratching your head getting fustrated being unable to find the problem, weeks go by of not being able to fix your car, until you notice that the brake lights are on when they arent supposed to be and find out the culprit was a $1 part. yeah, you would do a permanent fix yourself as well. You would be a fool to pay for another rubber piece. ... and yes.. I am speaking from experience if you didnt know. Shit that you only go thru once in your life i tell yah.

Rear camber arms rear toe arm and rear traction arms if you want to fit ya beefy boys but I reckon you should tuck the guards and get smaller cheaper wheels man would be good practice on smaller tyres for when the boys come over from the states

The clutch switch so the car starts a safety manual just if your car is in gear and that switch is not engaged the car won't start you have to press the clutch so that it works

The pedal switch stopper always crumbles to pieces. I drove many civics with brake lights always on from the same piece. I just put a 5mm bolt and nut through the hole and it fixed the problem.

i had same issue with my EG hatch, Brake lights was always on and no idea how long b4 i noticed it. i think i put a nut and bolt or something through mine 10 years ago

Yeah, had my brake light switch crumble to pieces in my R33, and it completely drained a couple of month old battery, so I had to get a new one of those as well.

Builds to legit to be redneck. Trust me. Those AN lines would have worm drive clamps on them, and you didn't use enough zip ties and electric tape. Trust me. Certified redneck here
