Agree. I don't get the appeal of turn base combat. It's 2024, so my big nopes are turn based, top-down views, anime, side strollers, and retro voxel art styles like Minecraft. I've been gaming for over 40 years, starting with Atari, so I've been there, done that. I'm all about realistic graphics now. I didn't buy new hardware to play old cartoonish looking games.

Hollow Knight is a side-scroller and it's one of the best games of it's generation. XCOM is a turn-based game and it's amazing. There are plenty of great "anime" games as well. Loosen up a bit and learn to appreciate unique games.

That's for sure part of it, but the main cause is this: 1. Developers don't make enough current gen games and focus on cross gen ones 2. Consumers don't buy a next gen console because they see no reason to as they can still play new games on their old one 3. Developers don't make current gen games because half of the consumers are still on old gen consoles, so to make money their games have to be cross gen
If this is actually happening im re-purchasing the game even tho i platinumed it just to play as venom. My favorite comic book character ever, and they teased me so hard only getting to play for like 15 minutes lol

The only thing I didn't like about Shadow of Morridor was there were too many Orcs. I'm not sure why this didn't bother me before in any other LOTR game ( Loved Two Towers and RotK on Ps2) but I couldn't get myself to finish despite how good the game was. Not really a fan of Wonder Woman either but hoping this turns out good!
Black myth Wukong looks fine but only fine. Greedfall 2 is really disappointing- the first game was really interesting, and the new changes just…..don’t look good.
Dafaq, greedfall 2 switch to pause and click point combat is as good as a downgrade features. Pause point and click combat is so outdated in 2024 gaming. If u like that, stay in 1990s and don't come back.

The very first line "My daughter a new threat comes to our shores and I must call you home" confirms this. The leaked image on LinkedIn a few months ago also confirmed this as well as the devs after the game was announced. "I hope it takes place on her home island"
It be pretty cool if this "Vemon" project is a spin-off game based on the Insomniac Spiderman universe where you get to play as Venom. I feel like a game like that would be sick. Unless that's exactly what he said in the video...

I love Palworlds n would still play it but now I’m playing Diablo 4. I’ll definitely buy Palworlds for my PS5 even tho I own Palworlds on Xbox n Steam on PC

The Black myth Wukong at summer fest was more of a pre order trailer the release date got announced a few months ago . Oh so who here is gonna pre order the collectors edition that statue of Wukong looks nice
