well yeah that's the video? I don't understand. Have you never seen videos explaining random facts before? Doesn't mean he's obsessed.. It's interesting to find out that big gas stations exist, never really thought about that before
As a Texan, I will say that this is absolutely amazing! Buckeys is a true Texas land mark, and it’s a BIG thing here. Whenever us Texans go on road trips, you can’t go with out stopping here.
it doesen't seem that crazy, its like one of those travel center truck stops but slightly bigger, also we dont need more suburban sprawl thank you but nah
@@jamesb.armstrong5433 but for gas station bathrooms they hold really high standards hell I’ve even seen truckers comment on RU-vid videos about them and they say that there shower rooms are spectacular
I walked into a buc-ees bathroom later at night one time and there were these two cracked out men having the hottest, sweatiest, nastiest anaI s3x you have ever seen. Sounded like two apes having a fight to the death over a single banana. Smelt like death itself
Bathrooms are bangin'! I'm a big fan of WaWa too. RaceTrac also. I like WaWa's food and they're more available around here than Buc'eeees! You have to go to buc'ees at least once in your life. I am not crazy about their food though for some reason. The pecan things suck. The pulled beef or pork sandwiches. Eh... I had one of those cinnibun things too and it wasn't that great either. It's like. Everything is too dry or something.
hope you’ve enjoyed it if y’all got it already, im goin to be movin 15 min closer to one later this week so stoked for that and i’m in houston😂😂their breakfast hits every time and brisket sandwich
If they need your property to build their store your state will force you to sell them your house and property just so this place can build their store.
You missed these important details. The reason Bucees got to be so popular was they always have super clean restrooms and their ice is cheap. That’s it. That was his secret. The first one was in Surfside just before you hit the beach. Clean bathrooms and cheap ice. The man was brilliant.
@@pukeskywalker9256 might could be. Lived there most of my life just outside city limits by Richwood. Probably talking about the one off old Angleton road.
I love Bucees. I can’t even pass one without stopping. Everything about Bucees is great and should be an example to every other business (like Chick-Fil-A should be an example to every fast food joint). They are clean, friendly, speedy service, SUPER clean restrooms, they pay their staff very well. It’s almost an attraction itself. I drove from Memphis to Daytona the first week in March and stopped at every Bucees along the way including stopping in St Augustine and the less than an hour later the one in Daytona. It never disappoints!
Except for when the state forces you to sell them your house and property just so this place can build their business, 🖕🏻 buc-ee’s I’ll never step foot on their property (which used to be my property).
Let me explain it with an analogy. When you go on a road trip you’ll visit a convenience store to get fuel and snacks. When you decide to make a cross-country trip you’ll start at Bucees. Everything you’ll ever need or never knew you needed. Bucees bathrooms are what every bathroom on earth wants to be when they grow up. Peace, Love, Beaver Nuggets!
I think he wasn't a "business partner" like he said in the video he just was an investor and just gave the money but didn't do anything like helping him search locations to build a gas station
He legally changed his name, he was not born with it. I met this man when I worked for the company. He’s pretty cool dude. Fun fact he is actually a convict. Look it up!
As a Texan, Bucee’s are the go to gas station. I live in North Texas and when we drive down to Houston it’s always our stop. Clean bathrooms all the time at every location for the wife and kid. Plus it’s fun on the inside and there are clean areas for your dogs to do their business. They actually built one in my city a couple years ago so I make some late night Bucee’s runs. They also always have the cheapest gas. That’s their business model. They make the vast majority of their money inside so they can give cheaper gas than anyone else. The ONLY downside is that my wife calls it “bussies”, to which I have no comment for.
I love buc-ee’s. The store is like the size of a normal Walmart and there are like a billion fuel stalls which is a lot. I used to go to Texas for summers and holidays and we would go here to buc-ee’s at least once or twice. Their BBQ is divine and so is their jerky.
As somebody who lives in Texas I can say that the buckys are very clean popular and sometimes there will be an mascot walking around also there may be sample stations on their own products
Going there was definitely a great experience. I’ve never seen such a big gas station like this. The building itself is the size of a grocery store vs the smaller buildings you see at a normal gas station. They have everything there. The make to order food is awesome!
When I was a kid in the 70s and 80s my family took a lot of road trip vacations as well as making two cross country moves from Atlanta to Las Angeles in 73 and back in 75. My 3 siblings and I loved stopping at a place called Stuckey’s! Same idea except a regular number of gas pumps.
Years ago when I lived in Denton Texas (north of Dallas), there was a Stuckeys north of Denton and they sold t shirts that said Stuckeys eat here and get gas. I was 10yrs old and got the joke .
