With paimon it kinda fits. It's like when you have been friends with someone and have experienced new things together and has slowly grown comfortable around each other enough to show your true colors.

I think the devs forgot that noblesse isn't as OP as it was, that's why they still put it in every character's trial

Amber’s dance is the biggest nerf bruh….. if it was not removed, and I get to see that animation whenever I afk/idle, it will cheer me up and I’ll play Genshin everyday

I personally like Barbara's new voice as it sounds more peaceful and soft like she is unlike the other imo. It's a shame Klee's walk and Ambers dancing idle went away. I wasn't around then but they looked so adorable, Hoyo should have kept it!

I'd say the biggest nerfs (and buffs) are the changes to EM and reactions. EM in cbt could increase all elemental damage by a little in addition to reaction damage buffs while Superconduct could decrease the DEF of enemies hit by the reaction. Mihoyo nerfed those features and buffed Melt/Vaporize as a compensation.

I'm gonna be super controversial here. I actually like Barbara's new voice. The fact that she sounds cheerful albeit a bit tired is very reminiscent of the lore. And I just really like calm voices (that's literally why Ganyu and Ayato are on my team)

Actually Xiao didn't got nerfed, as you can see here at 1:23 Xiao's stamina is decreasing while plunging attack, the player was using dash animation cancelling technique to make him plunge attack faster. You can still use this technique in the current version of the game.

they (the genshin devs) probably changed barbara’s voicelines because since shes like, a member of the church, gave her a soothing voice, because a person who commits themselves to their archon, like grace, probably wouldnt have a raspy, loud voice, atleast not in public *although i like her old voice more 😔🤚*

Rosaria's kick, Barbara's spirit, Klee's walking stence and Amber's dancing are the biggest for me, while Paimon's nrw voice fits her more imo

I think the reason Rosaria kick animation was removed is because Raiden Shogun, who is a female tall pole arm character just like Rosaria was added. Mihoyo might have thought that Raiden kicking would seem kind of informal for her

I feel like it would make sense if Barbara had a raspy voice since she sings all the time and she really likes spicy food which would make her voice raspier

Tbf, Guoba is now a red panda, which is indigenous to southwestern China and its population is listed as endangered, which fits Guoba's whole theme. Paimon's VA was having throat problems due to her keeping up the soft spoken Paimon voice, which led to the more squeaky, high-pitched voice we have now.

That noblesse set was OP👀 Wish they bring the set effects back somehow

Barbara's voice change was the biggest tragedy in the game, for me. When I say "tragedy", i mean in every sense of the word possible, when it comes to video games (obviously not compared to real life tragedies). I had discovered Genshin Impact maybe 3-4 months before it was released. I had never heard of it before that. It immediately caught my attention, and I started looking up more gameplay footage. I had no idea exactly how a Gacha game worked, or even what it was. I started learning though. Out of all the footage I was watching, the one character that caught my attention the most was Barbara, because of her pretty colors in her skill/burst. I didn't know how the game worked as far as gameplay mechanics, healers, dps, support, etc...... all i knew was I wanted Barbara and she was the one character I wanted most. Fast Forward to game release. I was so excited and happy when I learned that Barbara was going to be free (by reaching AR 20? within a few weeks of game release?? Right? It was something like that). I didn't have to rely on luck to get her...I was going to be able to get the ONLY character (at that time), that I was interested in. The hype I built up for myself surrounding her ended up being MORE than I could ever imagine. I was having so much fun playing with her. My favorite part about her, was her voice lines. It wasn't even close.... her voice lines were my favorite thing BY FAR! I love the music in the game, and the battle music is no exception. When I was low on health, switched over to Barbara and she shouted "Come on, w can do it!", with battle music playing... it was like a War Cry to me. Absolutely got my gamer blood pumping. I loved all her Skill/Burst voice lines... absolutely my favorite part about the entire game. I loved her "Go, Barbara, Go!" sprint voice line. I would just go around sprinting, just to hear it. But when they changed her voice lines..... it changed her entire personality, character, aura.... just everything about her. I kept using her in my party, but I've still not gotten used to her new voice after nearly a year later. The best thing that could happen in Genshin Impact, for me personally, from here on out, is if Mihoyo brings back Barbara's old voice.

Since I didn’t see anyone talking about it I’m gonna have to be the guy to talk about Rosaria’s boobs. You can call me a pervert, but to me a woman’s shape is art and a well endowed woman is pleasing to the eye. Her chest nerf was probably the thing that upset me the most, not only because it came out of nowhere, but because we were already shown a preview of her in game with the Dragonspine story quest and everyone was looking forward owning her as a playable character. It was like buying a figurine of one of your favourite characters to realize you’ve been swindled by the preview of the product and parts of it are not as advertised. That really pissed me off both on the emotional and logical level. To me, the other changes are also a shame but not nearly as annoying.

I'm glad with some changes like Barbara's new voice, Childe without the eye patch and Guoba being how he is now but the rest, especially the Rosaria kick and Amber's dance are both not understandable and inexcusable on why they cut it.

Albedo,diluc hair and itto body because they want to press the game size. 3D animation model need lot of polygon(or something what it called) and it need lot of time to be rendered. If they keep the hair fluffiness and itto's muscle your device will not make it and it'll bother the gameplay smoothness. I think thats why they nerf it. But for the rest im agree. Why remove rosaria spear kick when they can just not make raiden not kick it

Voice line is understandable because a lot of the initial lines are recorded at home due to the height of covid...after vaccine the VA can finally do a proper recording at the studios
