I'm making a Kill Team table set on a Space Hulk! With a glowing Warp - sky backdrop and tons of other little details - its one of the coolest things I have worked on from the Warhammer 40k Universe. Hope you enjoy it!

RU-vid killed the last version - I made a small edit and it was stuck infinitely "processing" at 0% and stopped being playable for viewers. Then youtube studio seemed to crash as the edit tools page wouldn't even load for over an hour. Really frustrating !

That bottomless pit looks so good! Having all models magnetized you could make a really cool wrecked hulk with walkways that aren't on flat planes and recreate that zero G feel.

I definitely agree with the idea of too many details being too much at times. Some of the recent GW models have way too much to the point where it's just overwhelming to look at them. I like me some simplistic models that have a lot of character.

Those grid patterns on the cutting mat are a crutch, you are better off without it :D Fantastic project man, I wanna tackle something like this one day but I need to gather more kits in the armory first. This is awesome inspiration.

Amazing build. Also the pan down and up during the ad read was like a Penn & Teller magic trick. You showed up how it worked with the first mini, then did it again while hiding the trick and suddenly it's magic.

Did part three of us ever come out? I know it's kind of a Herculean task to make something like this, and it's absolutely incredible, but I can't seem to find a video of the fully finished product. Which is something I would absolutely love to see, because this is mind-blowingly incredible

Thanks for posting another brilliant video. The endless pit looks fantastic! I’d like to see some of the outer panels on your ship in metal so your minis could fight outside your hanger just like the book you’ve recommended. That would add a great unexpected element to the board and gaming experience.

Thanks , with all the bad weather we finished all the terrain , we have crafter block on the Optimus Prime reboot. So this is going to be an inspiration for a Death Star set for the boys ,Star Wars Legion game.

This is amazing. Hanger iconic Doom level, the Galleria from the Terminator 2. Dunno if it's common knowledge, but the warp are strands on a loom. Which I guess also ties in to the threads of fate in Greek mythology. This was meant to be lol

if your doing metal sheets that models can stick too it might be cool to have a bit of an area on the outside of the gallery and some outer ship areas, could even have a rule that only units that have the tech to stick to ships can use it without drifting off (so space marines, imperial navy, eldar, just about any power armoured troops + orks because they think they can stick, while imperial guard, genestealer cults, tyranids, kroot and so on are stuck on the inside) you could even use vertical hull sections units could climb vertically to traverse levels

I love this build and how its developing. The sheet metal board idea is something I've got on my bucket list and thrilled to see someone bold enough to try it out. I was just about to type the infinity mirror idea. Another vicarious suggestion for the outside painting, there's a technique called Specular highlighting I saw on Tested where you use painting some irregular patterns across a flat surface with different finishes, gloss, matte, semi, pearlescent etc, to break up the surface and add some visual variety without a bunch of greeblies and kibble. It was common with Star Trek ship exteriors. Not sure if that goes with your overall finished vision but might be cool. They talk/show the idea on Adam's star trek cosplay, when painting the Razorcrest, and talking with Fon Davis about Galaxy Quest.
