I'd love to see you there.
Hopefully I will never have to taper off a benzo again. If that day ever comes, at least I know what I would do differently, starting with reading the Ashton Manual cover to cover.

Give Buspar a shot. I don’t know how I could go through this without it. I also take a lot of omega 3. Good luck my friend! Your videos are great!

I am doing ok. Getting through. It feels like being on the edge of a wave, but I'm managing. Don't need a pharmaceutical solution at this point. But thanks a lot

I will have to go slow on this video as I did not pay attention to the process of withdrawal , cold turkey is the way I am doing and is a disaster !! Saludos Phil .

I'm microtapering klonopin right now every day is so tough wish me luck man
@windowsNwaves
@windowsNwaves 25 дней назад
Have heard promising things about microtapering. The hope is that you are getting the tough bits out of the way as you go instead of having the nightmare anvil drop when you jump off. Hang in there.

@@windowsNwaves Yeah it's definitely much better so far. The problem is I became protracted (nuerological damage) after taking too many updoses of klonopin just like you described in this video during a failed taper of mine. Updosing unless a major emergency is to be avoided at all costs, it can cause actual damage. So I'm still super sensitive during this micro taper, but overall yes much more bearable than cut and hold

If I had to do it again!! Great thought, but just only a thought😕 if I were aware of the horrific withdrawal, I would have never touched a benzo! Anyways, you are helping a lot by doing these videos, full of information about the nonlinear process of horrible and terrifying journey. I started tapering on my own as I was feeling scary withdrawal symptoms when I was on xanax, it never helped me. Now I am almost a year off , but it seems that there is no waves and windows pattern for me, it's only bad hellish state. I may consider it improving very very slowly for some symptoms, but most the time, heavy head with squeezed feeling, intrusion thoughts, blurry vision are the constant one. Did you experience these in your journey at this point of time? I am really scared that if ever it's going to get better. I feel stuck in this frightening process and sometimes I see no healing at all. It's like being in a cage or prison of my own mind.

I know that feeling of being in a cage or a prison. The world shrinking every day. I had intrusive thoughts, heavy head and what you describe as a "squeezed" feeling. I did not have blurry vision. But everyone is different. Nine months was my turning point but I have a friend who didn't see relief until a year and a half out. I am more than two years out now and I still have symptoms. This particularly challenging time right now has pushed me to the edge, but I am getting through. Thinking of you and hoping you get some relief from these symptoms soon.

@@windowsNwaves thanks for replying. Glad that you turned a corner at 9 months out. As you said about the intrusion thoughts, I wanted to know that ,are the content of these thoughts related to our Symptoms? If I can describe it like for me, mental confusion is the intense symptom, so I always disturbed by the thoughts that is this my life what I am seeing around me? Am I really exist? , because I always fake to be normal and act like normal with my family members whereas I don't feel myself and disconnected from my inner self. Nobody understands so I write to you to get some validation and hope now at one year off, I feel myself stuck in this frightening journey..

@@angel_2022M Yes, the absolute worst and most terrifying feeling for me was a feeling of being untethered from my identity. It was as if I "lost" something to grab hold of and my mind was scrambling to find me. It is hard to describe and I can see in your words that you are also searching for the best way to articulate it. But we are talking about something very similar. It is terrifying. My god. I remember that feeling completely consuming me, gripping me and not letting me go. It was so real and so intense I never thought it would go away. But it did. And it will for you.
