or 5 km for Tier 6-8 and 8 km for Legendary Tier and make it a 12 v 12 if the Console can handle it (Tanks does 15 v 15 and seems ok).

1) Potatoes exist in any PvP game, it doesn't matter what game it is and something that people has to accept. It's the same on Tanks. I accepted it a long time ago and reason i rarely get mad. 2) Agree on the Faster Legends Experience, Spawns are closer on Legends which is reason Legends added Concealment Mod to Battleships which hasn't really helped. 3) I have no opinion on Autoaim as i try to manual aim as much as possible. 4) Feedback for WG to add a Port School to the game, to teach you most of the mechanics like Colin McRae Rally did on the PS1. In game is important because of 5) 5) On Tanks it took me 2 years before watching my first PC Video and most users won't watch a Single one so all the advice that people give on Streams, it doesn't mean much as the people that should watch, actually doesn't watch except for people who want to become a better player.

I think the problem is that there is no advanced tutorial session, while the training rooms are a help, there is no tutorial session to help rookie as well as veterans who can refresh their skills for ALL tiers.

They’ll never change it due to premium ships. With premium time and a tier 7 premium you can make 300k-600k silver a game.

Yeah, Blip flat told Aaron in the stream we do not have a DD match problem. Seeing 4-5 DD matches is common.

That’s crazy. I’ve had Tier 7 lobbies where we’ll have 1 Tier 6 DD. The other team will have a tier 6 DD, and a tier 5 DD Division’d up with a tier 6 BB. Idc if it’s tier 5 giving them an extra destroyer is ridiculous

@@menacingcoyote9346 but u can counter a BB with another BB, a destroyer, an agile cruiser, or a DPM spam cruiser island hopping with spotting. U can only counter a DD with another DD or a radar. Unless you’re counting on a couple BBs to know how to pinch a DD using their spotting bubbles, but that’s a prayer.

@@romallama44 There’s more of a gap in counters, but you can still mitigate it through sporadic movements, using cover, target prioritisation and generally…not being an idiot. People complain about 5 dd matches, but outside of very low tier they aren’t popular at all. 4-5 bb games are the norm and in some classes or ships it’s just not enjoyable to fight them back to back to back. If people want DD games capped at 3 then it’s justifiable that all classes be capped at 3

Another fix could be to make the auto lock snap the reticule directly over the targeted ship, but not automatically lead the target like it does now. It would make players have to fine-tune their shots manually, rather than having the game give them a clean shot at the press of a button.

Some of the spawns are pretty bad at high tier. ffs, I was spotted in my Saipan last night, which has pretty good concealment, before I could even make the turn to get my carrier back. I wish I could remember the name of map.

3dds per team or 2dds and 1cv. The amount of spotting in 4dd with 1cv game is so unbelievable to the point that you cannot move much without showing broadside.

Another piece of feedback i have is limit DD's to 3 per team. (In Ranked 1 or 2 per team depending on the size)

I agree. In some maps you don't even get the chance to move before getting spotted. Second : being spotted in a C cap by planes flying close to the A cap is bullshhhh too

I've personally thought they should get rid of auto aim all together and make ships a bit more accurate overall to compensate so if you got your aim right you hit hard as you should but if you got it wrong then you flubbed it. It helps encourage people to learn to aim to get big hits when it would count instead of thinking what's the point because of RNG because even some of my most accurate battleships have some horrible salvos sometimes right now. Plus it's annoying when you try to blind fire right now because you lose the accuracy buff of being locked onto something so if they did that it would help encourage blind firing smokescreens more and make it more effective alongside just blind firing in general. I also think moving the spawns further back would be a good change for as you said helping let people get into position without risking getting removed

I agree 💯, if WG would accurately make the Ship, to vulnerability. (Hit it in a spot that counts: Magazine turret),.. auto aim would be much better because like residentfox said. A vulnerable part of the ship should blow up but if you put a shell, through the life Raft, on the side of the ship,....it shouldn't do much for damage points...!!

I fully agree with nerfing, or outright removing, auto aim (primarily to disable the crutch cruisers can use to burn you down from behind an island) and shifting the spawns further back. The spawns, though, are perhaps the biggest offender, with DDs being about the only class (barring a CV in the match) not in danger of being immediately spotted. You can be doing everything right at the beginning of a match, play smart and try to position yourself, but if you're unlucky enough to be the first one the enemy spots, you get focused into oblivion.

Totally disagree with this: "disable the crutch cruisers can use to burn you down from behind an island". Those cruisers you speak of have weak armour, a relatively low hit point pool and can be dealt with by effective team play. This contributes to variety and balance in the game and with out the variety and balance, everyone will be driving around in battleships and the game would be boring. If anything, the game needs more variety, not less.

I had a game the other day where I had 3400 exp with the Massachusetts, 4 kills 170k damage, a dev strike, first blood, same kill lol, an I took out the enemy cv an 1 destroyer. Our friendly cv never dropped a bomb or torp. 0 exp. They didnt even spot anything…. It was a premium cv…

Auto aim doesnt auto lead for you though. If you just zoom and shoot youre gonna miss. The auto aim is just for range so you dont fire over and can aim easier over islands.

It may not be perfect but autoaim still makes snap shots way too easy which leads to a lot of folks getting yelled in the opening of a battle

@@SpartanElite43 I mean that's true I guess, but if you get destroyed immediately then chances are you were probably doing something wrong. All of the cruisers I've devstruck in the first minutes of the match were flat broadside and sailing towards the opposite end of the map from where they spawned.

First off, love your work Spartan. In response to your comment about potatoes not knowing what they're doing (or words to that effect): One thing I think is overlooked in all the commentary I've seen is that the game incentivises players, via Campaigns and Missions, to do things that don't necessitate win. For example: n hits with secondary battery, start n fires, cause n damage. Some of these are faster to achieve by engaging in YOLO type behaviours, which of course has a negative impact on gameplay for others. I think that some, at least, of the potatoes are actually reasonable players just trying to get stuff done quickly to get the reward. I know that I do this. I'd suggest that for tasks like these, one simple improvement would be add the conditions "In one battle..." [insert task here] "...and win the battle". I'd bet that would have a big, positive impact on gameplay.

Bad spawning locations at high tier are a symptom of the problem. I'll try to keep this brief but it's a somewhat complex and ongoing issue: The fundamental problem is the devs either can't afford to act on, or are not listening to, feedback. Whoever is running the show for Legends seems to have the attitude of "So long as the game is profitable, make do with as little as possible." which tends to trickle down to the rest of the dev team to some degree. I mean, ffs, everyone was patting WG on the back when they finally added training rooms and fleets to the game but something so basic should have shipped with the game at launch, not YEARS later. And because WG seems to have this attitude of "whatever, it makes money, maybe we'll get around to it eventually" this effects the players who are given no real incentive to improve their gameplay so most of them just treat it as a casual "shooty boats", treating pvp like it's vs bots, when it has the potential to be so much more. This is one reason why so many matches are one-sided. Another is a complete lack of any skill and/or experienced based matchmaking system. Unskilled and/or new players gaining access in standard to high tier ships they have no idea how to play. Then you get things like rng ramping up, struggling to keep noobs/potatoes alive which is frustrating as hell for players who actually do put in the work to get better at the game and are left unrewarded or even punished. There is so, so much potential here with this game that is being wasted, ironically, the game would be much more profitable with more effort being made here, and I think it all starts at the top with this lackadaisical attitude from the leadership. This game only survives due to a lack of competition in relatively fast paced navel arcade shooters. I know if there was another game like this one on console I'd have left Legends behind a long time ago. That's a problem. I don't hate the game, the players, or the devs, I'm just very disappointed.

You hit the nail on the head in this video. The problem is wg don't like loyal players who give them feedback/in put/ opinion of how they run things. I got called a back seat gamer for having my opinion by an admin from the community group on Facebook 😂 which now explain why I said you need to be on their cc list on fb but then I found out they removed you and was cause you "call out players" when it's just giving advice 😂

About players and matchmaking: The matchmaking is okay as it based on tiers. But the game makes stats about every player. So a more sophisticated matchmaker based on players' stats - next to the tiers - would be better. In this way the similar skilled players could get into a battle on both sides. Or the matchmaker could put more and less skilled players for both sides equally.

I think on pc as a pc player autoaim whould really useful on pc because the first 10 minutes everybody especially on higher tiers everybody stays 16-30km from each other and that's making the aiming very hard especially on battleships with slow velocity shells just like North Carolina etc

Several issues: 1. Developers not listening to there fan base. 2. Both teams unbalanced. 3. HE Spammers need to be dealt with. 4. Fires 🔥 burn way too quickly. 5. Bring back original armor that was on ships when game first came out. 6. Stop nerfing premium ships. 7. Radar/spotting is so broken. 8. Bundles in store are way overpriced. 9. Bring back realistic ships. 10. Fix AA guns to help attack incoming planes. 11. Cruisers/Destroyers should not able to sink a battleship or do any damage unless it’s torpedoes. 12. I asked spartan for advice around a month ago,which he gladly replied to.The learning curve is very steep and i try to help teammates.As an older gamer,and not very good,but hopefully seeing some improvements to my experience in Wowl i do see things in my limited capacity that need tweaking. 1) An ingame tutorial (ive learnt more from Spartan than any other medium) 2) Being detected from sporn in my battleship and HE spammed to an inch of my life needs addressing. 3) Middle sporn points are just the bain in a slow battleship. 4) The maps,oh the maps seem to accommodate torp and HE spamming. 5) Matchmaking seems questionable. 6) Aircraft carriers were a terrible inclusion. 7) Spartan needs to be on the dev team... Probably not the most constructive of posts,and im probably the most inexperienced part time gamer to have my 10p worth,but there you have it.

One of the biggest problems for me in this game is the teammates seems like every game I go into my DD’s just go out and torp battleships or a carrier and not hunt the DD or at least spot them that’s my biggest problem with the game just my opinion though

Yeah, this is wordy....as if you didn't suspect that already porcupine...you, the reader, should know my drill. And if ya didn't, now ya do. You're Welcome. I'll weigh in on what I see that's in need of improvement and it shall be about something that zero content creators bother to acknowledge....how do I know? I've brought this up before on a few channels, with disturbingly little or no response, that's how I know. Why? I've no idea but it is deserving of some attention. AI First impressions are everything they say, and to just about everyone as well, AI in WoW Legends IS that first impression...so what do I see in AI Mode that's a possible if not a probable (and influential) problem? Glad ya asked.... AI ships abandoning their side at the start of the match...hmm...familiar is it not? You can bet your ass it is. AI ships that will needlessly ram an opponent....yep, that's not terribly uncommon among humans. AI ships leaving a CAP before taking the CAP.....well damn...I believe I've seen this from the non-AI community of flesh 'n bone homo sapiens. AI ships going broadside to the point of looking obscene when done on a regular basis....well I'll be tripled goddamned....and dipped in a vat of Thousand Island dressing. So, is Wargaming, through their AI mode showcasing how to play their game in the worst way possible? Why yes....Yes they are. Or as The Fonz would say... Correctamundo! This is a problem because as I said, first impressions are everything. This issue is laying a poor foundation because all of the above can be witnessed in Standard mode. Is it the lone contributer? Probably not...but it's culpable and that's a problem that needs fixing. I agree with Spartan that the spawns need to be pushed back at least 5-6 km's. I had a match recently where I was simply moving horizontal from my spawn (zero forward progress) and I was shot at....no, I was not in the Kurfurst. It was a Tier 6 battlecruiser...Scharnhorst. Yes, I have the concealment mod on all of my ships from Tier 6 on up. So that's a problem. Auto-Aim is fine...messing with that feature will cause more trouble than good. It will not fix anything regarding gameplay. Instead...how 'bout this? Rework how HE & Fires damage ships...to limit how much one ship can blow torch another ship. I would suggest shortening the time a fire can burn as a start. Reworking damage points....let's level the playing field a bit better shall we? Superstructures on many ships hold too many hit points...distribute it better, fairer, so a shooter can't rely on just 2 dimensional thinking in every match. This also means certain nations shouldn't be more prone to fire than others. The ships are generally made of the same materials and having some drenched in lighter fluid before a match is....well...silly. CV's .....we don't see them often...no complaints here....I very recently rammed a Soviet CV (Tier V) the other day...that was a first. The ramming was mutual and gave me and my Queen Elizabeth a hat trick and the win. I think that player was tired and sick of not being able to destroy me. Anyhoo....aside from my brief story, a CV should not be able to focus a single ship to death with impunity. Yeah, I know in the real world that's kinda how it happened as CV's rose to power in WW2 where they have remained ever since, but this is a video game so it needs to be addressed. Fortunately, CV's are mostly boring so more often of the time ya won't see them in every match...but the issue should be addressed regardless because at the hands of a skilled player...you, the battleship, can be rendered powerless if you're focused. How to fix it when it's fair to both sides? I do not know but one idea would be to require the CV to move up...not back.... putting more pressure on the positioning of the CV while trying to conduct air attacks. Another idea would be to add a point system that encourages CV's to destroy the enemy CV by directing air assaults on them. Just an idea, you probably have better ideas, or none. Matchmaking.....8-10 destroyer games is too much unless ya plan to have a 12 vs 12 on bigger maps. The most influential ship, and the most powerful ship needs no more than 6 per match. 8-10 DD's out of 18 ships is ridiculous. THAT many requires a bigger map, larger teams AND....AND a scenario such as escorting transports and such. Capture the Base Mode....It's dumb. It doesn't encourage team play because you've got nothing to pursue or lose on a given flank regarding points. People in general won't lose sleep if this mode was removed. What to replace it with? Scenarios for cryin' out loud...we are using mostly historical ships or ships that were drawn up historically and never built, so honor them by having a mode that demands 3 dimensional thinking which rewards the winners, and gives nothing to the losing team. Maps.....we need more maps and here is a suggestion which is very simple...an open water map with zero islands. Just water with no cover. Should be more than easy to design. HE ships that can't get shot, also can't hide, they'll have to counter and move like a boxer or die. It's a great way for players to learn the value of juking, dodging, throttle manipulation and praying to their god or gods. It'll be a blast in a domination match. Weather.... we need thunderstorms, heavy rain, heavy snow, thick fog, and the Kraken from Clash of the Titans (1981)... And now it's Soap Box Time with Uncle Moony.... Anime needs a break....I'd like to live to see a day when we don't rely heavily on silicone-breasted, scantily clad girls with Bambi eyes to make our ships better, while also serving the less-than-dry daydreams of those who can't ever get laid in reality...down deep you know who you are. I've seen these socially undeveloped mooks literally comment on these characters as if they're real (which is creepy) whatever cheez-weasel...they're not real, try meeting an actual woman if ya can get out of your mum's basement and learn how to speak to the opposite sex. Let's have more historical commanders for crissakes, that actually did something in the history books. That concludes Soap Box Time with Uncle Moony, sponsored by Tinder. Who? Well it's kinda asinine that Admiral Chester Nimitz isn't in the game for the Americans...so that would be a good start. Glitches.....they're there. Fix them. Own your game by owning your game, Wargaming. I know, it's a lot to ask but try it anyway. And while you're at it, don't lie to your community or do a better job of lying. And while you're at it Wargaming do try being slightly less of an asshole by giving something kinda nice to your community like that highly requested Jolly Roger flag that ya originally went on record claiming it wasn't possible, then pulled a 180 by providing that flag for 17,500 doubloons, all because a few or many among your class of financial nosferatu can't resist sucking everything out of your villagers at every bloody opportunity. What I would give to see the Undertaker & Kane choke-slam every Wargaming employee of high rank through a folding table at Wrestlemania. Lastly....let's face it, the community as a whole enables Wargaming's behavior, which means some of you reading this also deserve a visit from the Undertaker and Kane. Spend less of your money for a change. Hurt them by hurting their bottom line. I know, I know...gamers are very much like smokers, drug addicts or alcoholics, they need their fix even when they know that the product, of which they are addicted, isn't good for them, but do try it anyway. A little restraint will create opportunity for other things you haven't thought of enough...but should be thinking about. Well, I'm all done here. Did I miss anything relevant?Probably... K/D ratio 9-0 short version: Team A: one shot one kill. Team B: Nothing you can do. Long version: I have been in so many games with a K/D ratio 9-0 max 9-3, winner or defeated side and it's not about matchmaking but pure RNG. WG has decided to favor one team 100% and give nothing to the other one. My predictions are not always accurate but when my first salvos delete a ship or do serious damage on a BB,3 fires in a single salvo etc and the rest of my team do the same,half of the red team is out really quick. The red team looks bad as they can't damage your ship even if you are full broadside(missed shots or only overpens). When every shot i take are only overpens,not a single fire with a fire starter cruiser and watching the rest of the team deleted in the first couple of mins the defeat is inevitable.Sometimes i can change the fate of the game destroying a low/mid damaged ship but guess what's happening.All shots hit the water.

The Devs won't care as long as players keep spending cash on their overpriced ships, crates etc. on PC we call the gameplay Steamrolling.. and yes its either your team getting steamrolled or doing the steamrolling, its extremely rare there is anything in between. Being on either side of a steamroller game is boring. I agree with everything you've said for legends, i like the spawn areas of PC version. But baby potatoes are impatient on console, unlike us well seasoned potatoes on PC. ;). F2p games dont have teams, theres too much ego, I've gone back to playing SP games so I don't have to deal with the stupidity.

Agreed spartan, nothing worse then starting a match getting spotted and focused straight away, it's taking the tactics out of the game. The first 5 minutes is just trying to survive! Lower tiers are becoming more fun then higher tiers and it shouldn't be that way. You spend so much time unlocking higher tiers to go back to a more competitive but lower tier game

Am gonna expand on your points. 1, it should not be possible to wipe out an entire team before the clock runs down. Skill and strategy should be promoted. 2, damage output is just too high, one salvo should never be total destruction of another ship. 3, move spawns to back, and no grouping. Make coms actually useful, either. Follow me! I'm covering you!, cease fire, (coz your exposing yourself), fire at the battle ships, etc, etc. 4, extend game time (so you have a chance to set up a strategy! 5 stop invisible ships, period!!!. No carriers, unless multiple ones and destroyers only. 6. Allow winning team to choose to stay together for their session duration, this promotes team play. 7, players who consistently throw their games in short order should only be allowed to play like skilled playersuntill they improve their game time. On another note Ranked games are a joke, I've played all day yesterday, and 90% of my games ended with me alone coz my teammates died two minutes in, and that is all classes permitted, its getting so bad I'm having to get off the game to settle my anger. It will drive me off this game. BTW, I've been a gamer since the ZX81, I'm 60yo now.

Totally agree that this would be a helpful scenario in tier VII and above. I just posted on that WoWs Legends FB page about the lopsided blowouts this game suffers from. Something has to change because it's just not fun.

my biggest problem with legends is the shells don't go where I aim. they fall short and all over the place. The accuracy commanders aren't. The 2nd most frustrating thing is they can't limit the number of destroyers in the match. How come they can limit the carriers to 1 but can't limit destroyers to 3 ? Then there's the mercy rule. There are still ships to shoot and XP to be earned but the match ends just becoz the red team over potatoed.

The problem isn't just the spawns but also the size of the maps. At low tiers (I-III), the maps feel huge, but in mid-high tier games, the maps feel too small. After 1 minute, almost the whole enemy team has been spotted. Make the maps 40x40km big.

PSA: Since no one seems to know this, if you are playing an AI game to get defend ribbons for the dailies, you CANNOT get defend ribbons if the cap is contested so keep your ship out of the cap, shoot the enemy as they try to take the cap, and then when they are dead you can go in and cap the flag getting that ribbon as well. And I'd be happy if we had a no carrier toggle.

I agree with you on the spawns please further apart would be great but the auto aim fire spamming island hoppers can use it and it’s annoying, but I also use it to delete them when they’re trying to hide so I feel it’s a give and take

I agree with the spawns point, I'm constantly moving back at the start of the game to prevent being spotted and then position. Another thing is to make divisions balanced on both teams. It can be an unfair advantage when you get one team with a division and the other without one. Also some teams have more divisions or members in a division than the other. This mainly applies when the division is not a division of potatoes 🥔🥔 I agree also with the comment below about limiting the number of DDs to no more than 3.

Getting steel is ridicolous 7. Loss penalty in ranked is just wrong 8. Over pen slot machine is just ridiculous 9. Win bonus in standard. Spart ima have to disagree with ya. Now hear me out. You say that match making isn't the issue. Because taters gonna tate. But think about what the astronomical odds has to happen for there to be 9 taters on one team and none on the other. Think about that for a min. I understand there are a ton of players that just don't play well for whatever the reason. But to all be on one team or the other. Then even if you say it could happen ever now n then. I'll even give you that. But we both know that this happens 50 plus % of the time. One team will get raped buy the other. Now here is what my thought is. I think wargaming chooses a side to help at the start of the match. Blue team or red team. I think one teams aiming. Rng auto aim what ever you want to call it is skewed. I hear you call it the RN G gods hating or loving you. What if there was no rng God and wargaming simply says sparten your on blue team and blue team will get an aim debuff. While red team will get an aiming buff of x amount. So your shells are missing right left high low. While the other teams shells are hitting cids after cids. From just about any and every angle. The mere fact that one entire team gets wrecked while the other loses maybe one ship. Suggest that 9 taters were put on one team and none on the other. Like I said astronomical odds of that happening randomly. And map size or spawn points have absolutely nothing to do with that.

I prefer to keep the auto aim, but the spawn 5k adjustment I think would help immensely. Also a wows 101 how to guide or mini missions to explain game mechanics and show best practices. So like mini AI missions with a citadel goal at a range or how to kite and create crossfires in the process. There’s not enough engaging informative content in the game to learn how to win. That falls to the CCs from what I can tell.

Personally, I don't mind the shorter games. I work 12 hour shifts so for me time is very limited. I can say that i am decent enough to clear at least 150,000 credits each game. I have premium ships, cleared German tech tree, and a few bureau ships completed. I do agree with the auto aim though, to me it doesn't seem like a necessity. What I do want though, is an extended premium shop so i can buy the ships I missed out on. I get envious when I see someone with the Brandenburg or the Pommern.

That's why stealth is so important yet so underated in the game. Everyone build for damage output yet they never realize how much easy to play with stealthy ship.... it allows you to sneak into good position to create cross fire, guaranteed to out spot ship of same class, playing very aggressive as much as you wish because u can go very close to enemy without getting detected. Most my builds are stealth build unless it is brawler which is the complete opposite build.... Put in simply, you can't shoot what you can't see right?

I agree, stealth is veru underated in almost every tier in the game. I may not use them much in my ship builds but they have extremely good potential for players. I dont use stealth builds often cause it aint my ship play style

My biggest problem with the game is invisible destroyers and torpedoes that have little to no detection range. Another problem is the rng on American battleships has gotten so broken that german and Italian battleships are more accurate. I was actually working on making a video about it but I couldn't bring myself to play 20 battles per American BBs anymore.

Ditch having three spawns. Put everyone in a wad 5-8km behind the current distance opposite of the other team. This gives you time to position, and stops people from "leaving their side". Then you can go where the fuck you want to go, and not leave someone hanging.

Unfortunately, taters are still going to tate. Playing devil's advocate here, if you move the spawn points 5km back, people are going to complain it takes too long for any action to start. Also, the tating taters are simply going to steam straight ahead like they do now - it'll just take them a minute or two longer to get yeeted. I wholeheartedly agree with removing auto aim. It is easily the most abused game mechanic. I can't tell you how many snapshot dev strikes I've gotten where I see a CA/CL get spotted, target, auto-aim, fire, ship is unspotted. Entire thing lasts maybe 5 seconds. Shells in the air... no more CA/CL. Of course, there's the flip side where that same CA/CL is happily sailing broadside to me in a straight line at constant speed. I throw an entire salvo at them and get 8 over-pens and a bounce. There's a reason we all like to quip "broadside is the best side".

I hit a flat broadside Pensacola in California at 15.5km and got 8 overpens and full pen and did only around 8k damage.

​@@hellcat0142The problem with overpens in this game is that according to wargamings logic the shells enter a pure vacuum when not detonating or hitting a citadel whereas in real life that metal slug would crash through the interior ripping apart hydraulic lines, damaging supporting beams, rupturing fuel tanks and even potentially igniting ammunition due to heat created on impact.

@@Deneb82 honestly overpen damage should be increased. 1/10 is not enough tbh. 1/8 or 1/7 would be better. Hitting a destroyer point blank with 9-12 16 inch guns would destroy her vital parts. Even if the shells didn't arm, like you said, simply the size of them and the force would be enough to severely cripple her, if not just outright destroy her.

Yeah I don’t know about the distance change. The potato’s are still going to the first ones to rush up and be spotted regardless. It might help slightly but not much. We all get spotted and caught out but the problem with these bad players is they don’t do anything to minimise damage taken when they do get caught out. Spawn distance or not if they don’t help themselves the problem won’t be fixed. I tend to agree with the auto-aim thing, however, I imagine it would become harder for us to hit those island camping cruisers, and giving them more power just isn’t it for me. For me the biggest problem is the player base itself, and that wargaming seem to provide minimal information on things like scoring so that people know what acts are going to generate them points etc. Oh and games with more than 3 DDs, just ruins it for everyone unless you’re in a radar cruiser.

I've said from day 1 of playing the spawns are far to close, yesterday I spawned in and got spotted 2 seconds after I started moving. I cant even get into a good position without have half my HP removed within 30 seconds make the maps bigger or rebalance concealment.

I think there should be a special match maker 8v8 at most where your stats only allow you to play like kdr needs to be above 1.00 win rates above 50 must have over 9 k battles. You can have fleet members or invite a friend you can do missions and everything else like you do in ai and standard but ship's in this mode have a larger health pull can only have 2 DD. No mote than that can have 1 carrier the rest you can bring 8 cruisers or 8 BB.

When I did play this game I did hate the spawns. Getting yeeted 2 minutes into the match left a spur taste in my mouth but being a BB main I guess that's gonna happen. A lot of what you brought up in this video makes a lot of sense and hopefully moving forward things change, and might bring me back to this game..maybe.

unfortunately that would not work the way you think it would. Too many games are lost because of the team, not any of the individual players. Even the best players cannot reliably carry a bad team. Also players to regularly division up can artificially improve win rates by divisioning with better players. In this game winrates are not really a indication of skill.

So. If there was a mandatory tutorial for each ship class and tier group, it would gi anoong way to fixing a lot of the player base issues buy showing players in zero coast ai rooms how to actually play the ship. Player controlled secondaries and aa, esp with dp guns, should be a thing. If im in a cruiser thatbwas built as an aa platform, inshould be able to engage planes with the main battery. And finally .. more map variety with randomized spawn point. Give us maps that are twice the size as we have now, but with teams spawning randomly in groupsnof 3-4. And bump the tramnsize up. That way large maps can be 12v12 but amaller maps can be as low as 6v6. And well, last minute addition.. fleet divisions. Outside of the fleet battles, fleet officers should be abke to organize up to 9 fleet members for a division and challenge other fleets to battles. In these battles fleets would put uo resources and oil, and the winnig team wins those resources and oil.

Push spawns back. limit amount of destroyers per game (they're never going actually nerf them or buff their "counters", so at least make it so theres less of them.) and oh my god getting promotion orders absolutely sucks. I have so many insignias and commendations, but u can't use them because i have no promotion orders. (Not using comms on a Capt less than 14) Theres plenty of other issues, but those 3 are my biggest issues that i can see easily being addressed.

The first reason you gave about EVERY game being a steam roll is the EXACT reason why I quit this game. Its never a competition nor is it fun to always win with 7-9 players or loose with 7-9 players. I want a match every now and again that is a challenge and is close match. It inferates me how often it happens and if I was in a room with the dev's alone for 5 minutes I could literally BTF out of them it makes me so mad...so I just quite playing. Still love your content though.

Although I agree that the spawns need to be moved back, I wouldn't say it's the biggest problem. In reality the RNG is the biggest problem. When you look at PC and Legends and compare them, PC has less RNG across the board. All I want to do is be able to punish people when I get into a good position. Most of the time, when I get into a really strong position, my guns with a BB are just worthless 90% of the time.

My biggest issue is that I have to grind so much to finish the weekly havocs. At times I am ready to quit this game for that reason alone. Makes it not enjoyable.

I'd say remove auto aim, pull spawns back from tier 6+ 3-5km and add 5 minutes to the timer for the chance to carry blueberries harder and compensate for slower BB getting to battle

I think the biggest problem with the game is RNG. Idiot teammates suck, but there is little you can do about it, just as Spartan mentioned. You can't teach someone if they aren't willing or trying to learn. However, RNG is something the devs can do something about, they just choose not to. I should not shoot a full broadside from my battleship at a cruiser, hit them dead center, and watch them get away with it, while in the meantime they get a fire and 5k a salvo everytime they fire at me.

On the pc they are coming out with a new thing for the carrier Planes. I hope they bring it to world of warships legends. And a point system how much damage you do to how much damage is done to you. So it you are sitting at the back doing nothing you get very little points. And make it 12 vs 12. Something like 1CV-3-BB-5CC-3DD if no cv game the game one ship from other class.

Idk Spartan, not a fan of auto-aim but I always make adjustments anyway...you'll miss a lot of shots relying on the game's aimpoint. It sucks to be focused by HE spamming Cruisers but their effectiveness is diminished if you'll move your ship. If you're camped nose-in behind an island you will be melted down. Let's keep those Battleships moving Captains, and keep a keen eye on the mini-map

Console is 9v9. PC is 15v15. I've seen games just as fast on PC as legends. Wargaming games in general go fast. World of tanks matches are common place to have one side getting stomped with a few matches sprinkled where they become grind fests. Their games come down to one big thing. Pouncing on enemy errors and then pushing heavy on that weakness which usually ends up on having flanks collapsing. Also most in the player base aren't playing chess in their head trying to counter potential enemy moves

Good ideas, the spawns are a bit wonky - they have adjusted some over time but not all. And could go further, it would give people chances to maneuver for position. Isn't there and option in settings to turn off auto aim? I'm not sure. My biggest problem with the player base and the game is the fact that there is nothing IN the game itself to teach players to be better. No tutorials or training missions about angling, position, aiming - so the game lets you make the same mistakes over and over, and some players then think that this is how the game is meant to be played. To get better you have to go outside the game, and some people can't be bothered for a free online shooter. Everything I know about the game - and I have improved my win rate over time - but everything I learned was from guys like you, and Tbull, and AA Ron etc.

I'm going to disagree with you. The "match maker" does NOT have an MMR system -- it is random. If you take a normal distribution of talent from the population pool and cram them into a random game together, you're going to end up with ROFLstomps something like 7/10 games without fail. ALL Wargaming has to do to fix this is emplement an off-the-shelf MMR system -- it's simple math and it would make this game tolerable. It's not tolerable right now. These games are annoying and often embarassing. To make matters worse, fkn Wargaming allows people to group together against the randoms. Insanely stupid decision, it's setting up the gross imbalances we see.

People still camp like crazy even with the carriers it's not fun at all when you get a whole team that plays like that. Also when you do get a carrier on your team most won't even spot destroyers for you. They just go for kills

Im a carrier main my self and i prioritize help my alies to spot ships that needed to be spotted or that is hiding, and i try my best to spot and damage/destroy DD early in the match. Its better if you are in division with team that is cooperative or communicative ( Smart )

Stop letting new players spend global xp to skip tech tree ships. My brother played about 5-10 matches and skipped the American cruiser line up to the Pensacola. Has no idea how to sail it. You guys wonder why we have so many potatoes on our teams, that’s a prime example as to why.

Better game DAC total war its based on Attila total war 30 factions . Lord of the rings world . Elves .. orcs men ., them who are so like Dwaves cant spell that word give that a go I think your personality would fit right in great community Tolkein fans everyone.

My personal observation is really bad dd play. They don't spot, the hide behind the battleships or islands. They often don't take zones,but instead go way wide to torp a backline bb.

Auto aim sucks for me when its totally picking the wrong ship to focus on. I miss boocoos of kills because of it.
