Eamon! always excited to see you post. When that documentary comes out, do us a favor and charge us or at least make donations possible. im looking forward to seeing it.
@@EamonGlavin We were only there Sunday this year, but I'd say the number of spectators was greatly diminished. The crowds were easy to navigate, and we had our pick of vantage points. Lots of parents with no central meeting place just milling around trying not to get smacked in the head by boats (how did so many forget their dodging skills during our Covid hiatus?) We were at a regatta a few weeks before the HOCR where the town eliminated most of its public parking along the course to discourage crowds. That made the Charles experience even sweeter; no proving our loyalty by parking on sketchy-looking abandoned properties and slinking past the police presence to hug our sweaty kids post-race. lol
incredible cinematics and production, eamon you are truly gifted and a blessing to the rowing community. i sincerely hope you continue creating rowing content, you are one of the best rowing creators on this platform.
@@EamonGlavin Yeah you briefly talked with Coach Art. And yeah it was a good area, until we had to wait in line 2 hours with our quad to launch on Friday hahaha
This is surreal, I volunteered with the broadcast committee so I spent basically all of Friday and Saturday hanging out at Soldiers Field. I'm so bummed I didn't see you, would have loved to say hi!
Hahaha I was running in and out a lot during those days, just dropping off gear before racing to be able to grab it quickly after. Cheers to you for helping them put together a great broadcast! Dad is the man
Great video. Captured the spirit of the week end. After watching it I wanted to lift weights, shoot more video and , and eat glass ! Totally psyched ! Best to you !
Good filmmaking, too bad the info you're giving is wrong. The biggest regata in the world is held annually in Trieste, Italy. You should specify rowing event.
