This is the reality that faces rowing. An “all white crew” would not be necessary because often times that’s already the case. The point of an all black crew is to break this mold and boundary. I recommend you take some time to look into the true history of rowing and the racial demographics of our sport.

this comment is purposefully obtuse to a degree that it’s almost laughable. like you cannot be serious. there is no need to create this fake scenario of outcry bc this is already the reality of rowing. most boats are all white crews. the point of an all black boat is to test the limits and introduce further bouts of diversity to the sport. rowing is one of if not THE sport lacking the most in diversity, and boats like this one at HOTC are what shows POC that they’re welcome in a space that at face value they wouldn’t they are. this comment was DEFINITELY not the serve you thought it was and if anything implies that you’re against inclusion in crew. please seek help with unpacking that and stop attempting to start arguments on posts that are meant to bring good feels :).
