I can’t wait to try this out. I’ve gotten on a good run with the 425 LST. I wouldn’t usually expect much to be different but the carbon wrap looks so good.

I just cannot miss a fairway with my Ping G425 max, I sometimes aim at the trees as I need a piss, so very forgiving it might not be the longest driver out there but no bad story starts out with I split the fairway, can’t wait to hit the 430.

Tried the Ping G425 LST last year and couldn’t get past how much louder it was compared to my trusty Ping G410 LST. Replaced the G410 LST this year with a Cobra LTDx LS that gave me an extra 5 yards of carry and 10 yards total distance over the G410 LST.

Something that didn't get mentioned Vs every other ping review ever made was the sound. Ping is an acquired taste with its sound. Consumers usually accepting performance over sound or find they like the sound despite being the minority. How did you find the sound for this new G430 vs any previous models, especially now that it has carbon involved with the crown.

I would like to see you put some of these new drivers head to head and include the new PXG Gen 5. I think it is interesting to see a driver that is at a budget price beat the higher marked up clubs. Would love to see that series of videos.

Still rocking G410 plus and pretty confident it would do just fine vs the G430 on the actual golf course. I'll probably switch just because that 430 LST looks so brilliant down by the ball, but I'm not conning myself into thinking I'm gaining anything other than sexiness.

im in the same boat. been gaming the g410 for couple years and enjoy it a lot. the g430 does look quite amazing. just gotta find a store where i can test it and the shafts.

so just my 2 cents about this set up. i just bought it the same thing. however it was the highest 9 degree i tried in stock setting. higher than my tsr 2, same height as the stealth 2 with diamana shaft. higher than the 9.5 new srixon zx5 ls. i put it on this shaft. it is a bit loose for a stiff, pings website agrees with me. butt loose. so what i have found if you hit a draw it tends to slightly hood the club, if you hit a fade like me it tends to hang open so high and right.....which allowed me to keep the weight in the middle as opposed to toe like normal for me. i tried an x but didnt kick at all. 100 ss now adays. any way... not a huge fan of this shaft but i have more at home ill probably switch too. love the head. seemed very stable. to me this shaft acts kinda like a soft whiteboard. im aging myself

Crazy yardages but dispersion seemed better with the G430 Max. Maybe go back to the G430 Max and try some different shafts?

Like a lot of modern drivers that have a small bit of Draw built into them, I think most better golfers should be looking at the 10.5-degree heads opened to 9.5-9.0

Im sure it's nice, but the sound and the Turbuloators are a no-go for me. The TSR2 with a Ventus Blue gave me numbers I havent seen in years. At 47, I am hitting it farther than I did 15 years ago. That alone is worth the price tag. Keep up the great work!

Ping G430 LST in 10.5 degree with a 65 gram stiff lower torque shaft could be in my future. Haven't bought a driver since the Ping i25. I will holdoff on buying until they are available in LH.

Mate I just tried one last weekend. Definitely an upgrade from my g400. I didn't think I'd see any improvements but the lst 10.5 with the ping tour black 2.0 65x gained 23m average with Max drive a 290m. Was really impressed. Also a lefty

I love the swing camera angle you used in this one. It really does a good job of showing the power you generate through your legs in your swing. Might this driver be too hard to hit for people? If it can’t get up in the air and spin with your swing speed (with only a stiff shaft) then how will the rest of us fare?

Would love to see the same driver without the rear weight in place at all, Toe Weight, Center, Heel and NO weight etc... Theory should equate to a faster club speed, but probably unstable etc..
