As a veterinarian, you are a great resource not only for supporting my client information but I too learn cutting edge medicine and care for my patients. Please continue your vlogs. I know how “social media” is a double edged sword for some people to post such hate. Just know that there are the silent majority that love ❤️ what you do.
Thankfully, living in central Florida through covid, other than the original two weeks to slow the spread, life carried on fairly normal. Our vet was busier than ever, even to the point of no new clients. A few people wore masks, but we were in the room with our dogs, face to face with the vet. Not jabbed and no infections, thank goodness. We appreciate all the information you share with us.
Your videos are making me hopeful and excited for the future. My German shepherd had Osteosarcoma and we dont have any money or options but im hopeful concidering the advancements i have see since our cat died from it 10 years ago.
Thank you again. That cat was awesome at 27lb and not fat, just big, very big. I guess its a family thing to have super large pets. I sent you a message on your ig and hope you have time to read it and give us some advice thank you so much for your vlog and dont ever give up the good fight.
God bless you Dr Sue. It’s so encouraging to hear about the advancements to oncology during what has been a difficult year. I hope you and family are protected and recover from COVID. Thank you for continuing to vlog, we really appreciate all that you do. 🇬🇧😻👏🏼💐🇺🇸
Thank you. It has been a rough year. We are all recovered and I escaped it as did my other son. Thank you. I will continue as I settle into my new life. Stay tuned. And thanks for the love. xo
Thanks for your information. I love your channel and I have learnt so much from you. I’m a vet graduated in Oz but has been working in hk for 15 years Thank you doing this for the vet profession. You are inspirational :) wish u a merry Xmas and a happy new year !!
Good morning madam, plz release video on chemotherapy for mammary tumours. At present, our option is surgery only. We don't have specialist like you for Cancer treatment in india. Ofcourse we have for humans
The only cancer treatment we are doing in india for dogs is only treating venereal granuloma with weekly Vincrystine sulphate i/v injections. Thats all plz release videos for us on common pets tumors with chemo protocol with simple and easy understandable videos. Thanks
Great summary of the developments in cancer treatments, our dog is finishing her 2 round of CHOP for lymphoma on the 12/26, 2 rounds to go. Such a stressful time and your videos have really helped us understand the cancer treatments, prognosis and the cancer journey we are on as a family with our beloved dog. Thanks you!
i really want to say big thank you for all the information on this channel. i found a small bump on my cat next to the mammary gland on the new years eve and by now have done bloodwork, x rays and ultrasound and also met with the oncologist. the operation to remove one of the mammary glands chain is scheduled for next week. the information that you give really helps to get reassured that i am doing what is needed to give my best friend the best chance to fight the cancer. i am from moscow, russia and it really helps to boost confidence to see that our vet specialist use the same protocols to examine my pet, diagnose and provide treatment. huge appreciation!!!
Dr. Sue, never stop what you are doing. You are a great asset to us all. We recently lost 2 Berners within 5 days of each other to hystio sarcoma. Thank you for what you do.
Ok, this is a really touchy subject and I know it's going to rile up a lot of people, but I've only had 2 rescue cats and BOTH of them got really bad cancer. Is it possible that they contracted felv before going into rescue? I meticulously kept up with their jabs but I can't vouch for their early life
Dr Sue, how are you? My name is Aiby Nava My cat has a lump on his right leg and after 4 needle aspirates Dr.s cant really conclude a diagnosis so they suspect injection site sarcoma. 😭 how or where can I schedule a virtual consultation with you before his surgery scheduled on March 11.?
Hi, one of my colony cat (wild) unfortunately has an osteosarcoma in the mouth... after ct scan and biopsy we decided to let her go free again in her territory. i check her every day and she seems fine but i know that she must feel pain... it's pretty hard to give her pain relieving but i'm trying my best...
Dr. Sue, your videos has been extremely helpful as we are facing an aggressive cancer with our sweet corgi boy, Thio. On the conference you attended, were there any hopeful therapies and treatments for dogs with histiocytic sarcoma?
Thanks for making these vlogs! Questions, do you think there will ever be a nuQ test for cats? And could it potentially detect small cell gi lymphoma? Thank you!!
Hi Jamie- thank you for your question. We are working to develop this assay for cats and hope to expand the test for other species include cats and horses later this year. GI lymphoma is definitely a question we want to answer, so stay tuned. Hopefully we will have more information regarding this topic in the coming months. Heather Robles, DVM
@@heatherwilson6791 thank you so much for your reply!! I am so happy that this is on the horizon. What an incredible accomplishment this is and will continue to be. Thinking about the number of pets it will help brings me happy tears.
