I love my story on how I got into basketball so I hope you get to read this one. I went grocery shopping with the fam and went next door to get some Chinese food and they had on the 2010 NBA Finals (I’m from LA) It had to be game 6 or 7. I went home and immediately turned it on. Now outside of that exact same Chinese food spot, they have a Kobe Bryant mural on the outside and I just think that’s so cool. Then I fell in love with the Lob city clippers & from there have been obsessed with the game. Tim Duncan was the MVP in the year I was born, 2003.

Timmy D won mvp in my birth year. Brandon Roy, andre miller and Lamarcus Aldridge got me into the nba. As a Portland native not having cable, I got to watch only a handful of games as a kid during the season, LMA’s killer midrange game, brandon roy’s electric playstyle and andre miller being a solid pg that could always do the right thing really made me a fan. Good times man.

He learned how to impact the game with his floaters, 3's and mid range. He became a better playmaker too

Lance Stephenson got me into basketball, I randomly went to a hornets game for a school event or something. We were playing the Hawks and the game went into triple OT. Lance made a goofy 3 to beat the buzzer and win the game. Fell in love with the game from then on. Tim Duncan won MVP when I was born 2003

Like most people in here tim duncan won mvp the year i was born (2002). I started actually watching like the 2013-14 season when pg took the pacers to the ecf. Durant, duncan, kg, tmac and kobe got me into basketball but james harden in 14-15 turned me into a full fledged fan and actually rooting for players/teams

tim duncan won mvp the year i was born (2002). dwyane wade, chris bosh, josh richardson, john wall and goran dragic helped me fall in love with basketball. i had always paid attention to basketball and even played it, but i didnt really lock in until the 2014-15 season when lebron left the heat. i knew basketball was for me when i watched washed shannon brown and danny granger chuck shots for the heat and i enjoyed it 😭 #dropthemike

#dropthemike unfortunately karl malone won mvp in my year, but the player that got me into basketball was kobe bryant i distinctly remember watching kobe play in like 07 against the celtics and my dad hyping me up that he was the second greatest player to ever play behind jordan then i followed basketball and the next year they went to the finals but lost in 08 so ever since then i been a die hard lakers fan and kobe fan all because my pops took the time to break down plays with me of, how kobe did this, why kobe did that.
