Personally, Tom Hardy is one of my top 5 best male actors in the World... I admire his role in every movie he's featured, he always offers something different and best
I am so right there with you! Tom is the fucking man. His intensity just draws you into believing he really is the person he is acting to be! I can never take my eyes off of him when he is doing a role so brilliantly! 🖤🖤🖤
lol facts @@Chris-sy4yt I love Tom but he's not the most diverse actor, he pretty much just plays himself in most things, and that isn't meant as a diss at all. Will still watch anything he's in.
Shout out to Danny Lyon, the photographer whose series "The Bikeriders" inspired this movie. One of the shots in this trailer is a recreation of Lyon's photo "Crossing the Ohio River, 1966".
I have a friend with that photo blown up on his wall, it’s an incredible photo. To be more specific on where the photo is taken; an outlaw is crossing the Ohio River on the Kennedy Bridge entering Louisville, Kentucky and leaving Indiana, literally on the Mason Dixon Line.
I freaking Love Tom Hardy … the dude kills every role he is in. No matter how small . He steals every scene. He is like a young Marlon Brando , Steve McQueen , Clint Eastwood rolled into one .
This seriously feels like a re-imagining of Marlon Brando's The Wild One (1953). It even feels like it with Tom Hardy's accent and Austin Butler's idealistic persona.
@@brionnyvaus4515 I’d guess it’s an old midwestern accent. Kinda like Fargo, that’s the only other film I can relate the accent to. Again I’m just guessing
@@brionnyvaus4515 its a Chicago/Illinois accent. For reference, RU-vid Dennis Farina (cousin Avi from Snatch) and Frank Cullotta (real chicago mobster). Bill Murray also has the accent to a lesser extent. I'm from UK so I don't know if the accent extends beyond Illinois. To my ear Robert Forster from Jackie Brown has a similar accent but he is from Rochester NY state.
@@myswagobsession Yikes! Well I guess Hollywood must be pleased there are people out there who are easy consumers to please. I would recommend watching some of this director's (Jeff Nichols) films if you're interested in this film as they are genuinely good quality.
More than a little visual reference to Danny Lyon's breathtaking still images of Bikeriders, love the shot of the Biker looking over his shoulder on the bridge. Magical !
Only Tom Hardy called me here. I don't know others well. For Tom's sake, I'll watch any movie. Thanks to Tom, I learn about other actors with whom he starred in the film.😊👍🔥
Tom Hardy. The pride of England. He's amazing. For fans of TH who haven't watched the Netflix series Taboo. Its a must. And I hear a second series of that its in the pipeline.
So looking forward to this, Hardy is the new age DeNiro. For those that haven't seen them stone cold and beyond the law are another two great biker movies to watch
@@yf1001 You saw it and actually liked it? It's one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Off the top of my head, I can't even think of anything worse. The only reason I can imagine someone liking it, is if they're obsessed with Tom Hardy...
@@yf1001 You said you had never seen a bad movie with Tom Hardy in it, not that he's never given a terrible performance. That was a very bad movie he starred in. Yes, that is my opinion, just like it's my opinion that it would be disgusting to rub crap all over my body. Is my opinion shared by every single person on the planet? No, of course not... There are people out there who like all kinds of ridiculous things, but most people know this movie is terrible, and most people don't like to rub crap all over themselves.
Holy Pissflaps!!! This is now my must see movie of the summer. Tom seems to be playing Brando in the sequel to The Wild One!! Factor in the brilliant Jodie Comer and Elvis in a Roger Coreman-esque biker movie.... its visual heroin!!
If you are interested in this film, please also consider checking out the director Jeff Nichols' previous work. Take Shelter is amazing and helped launch the career of Michael Shannon and Jessica Chastain whilst Mud was one of the real gems of the McConaughaissance. I thought Midnight Special was also pretty good and unfairly got flack from people expecting a big, noisy sci-fi blockbuster when it was essentially an intimate film in the style of Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
@@cicerogsuphoesdown7723 Shotgun Stories (by the same director) was a very small independent film made in 2007. 4 years later Shannon was doing Take Shelter a slightly bigger independent film. So not a huge change in his career. Now have a look at a couple of years after Take Shelter - what film was Michael Shannon doing? Man of Steel. I think Shannon was already respected by insiders and aficionados but Take Shelter was the launchpad into Hollywood prominence.
marketing. They went with a marketable song that plays into the emotions they're building in the trailer. I love Lucero to death but this was a much more sensible decision. It'll undoubtedly make it in the movie. I'm pretty sure Jeff and Ben said as much. Matter of fact I think Ben said it is when I saw him in February.
Tom hardy is my favourite actor. Jodie cormer is one of the best actresses working today. So underrated. Austin butler is class. Michael Shannon too. And sons of anarchy vibes. Count me in but Toms accent is strange af I can’t get use to it😭
Based off a book by the same name. The director and his brother, Ben of the band Lucero, have circled the story forever. Ben wrote a song called Bikeriders and now Jeff is using his talent to tell the story. Recommend checking Lucero out if you aren't already familiar.
It’s been in the making for quite a while as the last poster said. I follow Tom Hardy’s IMDB and I have been waiting patiently for the release! Can’t wait!!! Looks Amazing! 🖤🤘🏼🖤
@@jamesalexandertaylor907 Yes love!! I’m so glad you love him too! Tom Hardy is in my top 3 favorite actors. He is absolutely brilliant!! There is not one movie I have seen him in that I didn’t like. He makes every movie he is in worth watching just because he is in it. He just needs to be in more movies! 😉
Tom Hardy is an amazing voice shift maker. From the deep and rich East European accent, Bane, to this current voice, a strong New Jersey accent, but with a softer pitch.
