Totally forgot about him, it was a big deal when it started. But I was only 10 or younger. Shame they couldn't find a way of continuing it, great vids though.
@@lewis72 the later ones are shown over and over on a couple of channels. Only from late burnside onwards though. The early stuff is superior, they lost their way a bit with ongoing story lines. Almost became a soap.
when living abroad i watched this avidly, now i do not watch tv cos makes my brain fried, but so nice to see this again....i think it was when they went digital and put out sh.......
Back when the bill was a complete police drama! No soap elements whatsoever. Soap elements like phsyco cops and cleaners. Gay affairs. And the wedding of Kerry and Luke. And Luke's gay relationship with Gilmore.
@@clarelouisedavies1894 Definately after 1985 - you can tell by the female officers headgear - black bowlers which were introduced from 85. Prior to that they were issued white headgear..
