Get off your high horse. The whole point of this episode was to demonstrate that female police constables and other ranks of the constabulary were more than capable. That is why PC June Ackland was the arresting officer at the end of the episode. Her reasons for crashing of the mid-sized sedan Ford Sierra was NOT because she was a woman. Thankfully, the 'W' from 'WPC' has long since been dropped and skirts are no longer a requirement. That was a very stupid decision in the first place. I agree on that! Secondly, handbags are not called 'purses' in the UK. A purse is something you put in your handbag. Lastly, how is gun control going over in LaLaLand (USA) or race relations between the amateur yankee police forces and the non-white communities?
