Interesting to hear the publican talking about the country "going down the tubes", given it's the same actor who portrayed the hugely antisocial Finger in Nuts in May!🤔
This is a good episode. It demonstrates that when the police really need the public and the public realise it, assistance is fast and furious. The consequence being that results too are fast and furious. There is a lesson for the police that the public is willing to help if they have the right attitude and also for we the public that the police are not our enemy and our full cooperation and trust helps to get criminals, wrongdoers and idiots like that Sierra Cosworth driver (idiot, not because he accidentally hit a child but because he failed to report it!) brought to account much quicker and faster. This is the fastest path to reducing crime and reducing it quickly.
Police ask for help over social media and the public are happy to help, the Police are learning. But community Policing is needed, I remember us having a local Copper when I was a kid, that's how it should be, maybe with a few more officers each shift on each beat, given population increase.
