I don't think numbers are just for show or an ego flex. Look at the Billboard charts. If two songs by artists working in the same genre are on the list but say one is on #52 and the other #8 people are most likely going to go for #8 first. It is certainly a battle for a person's time, all entertainment is. whether movies, music, paintings, or video games. I was trying to look through album releases two weeks ago and there are still tons I haven't heard yet from just that week. There might be room for everybody on the playlist but if time is rent then not every song has the money to pay.

This is just my opinion but I think Taylor would still be number 2 if she made better decision with her latest album. I feel like her raise in popularity, to the point that it's over saturated at her, also made people tired of her and decide to give their attention elsewhere

Lol, this is kind of unrelated, but I watched the “Lunch” music video, and it is probably Billie at her most unhinged yet XD. The weird fish-eye camera angles which make Billie look like she is 250 lbs when she is actually in-shape in real life is both hilarious and wild to me, lol 😂 definitely isn’t an accurate depiction of what she really looks like. Not to mention her break-dancing with her clones and the camera spinning around and juddering erratically; I feel like I came out of a half-fever-dream half-dementia after I finished watching it, lmao 😅. Definitely different than the “Happier Than Ever” Billie, which was my very first impression of her; not that any of it bothers me though, I honestly find the whole thing kind of comical to be honest, haha 😂😂

They're acting like a toxic kpop fan who likes to create imaginary conflicts between kpop artists even though the artists have no problems with each other at all.
