Hey everyone, just to clear things up : This is not me playing. As mentioned in the description, Brent Kennedy is the creator and performer of this arrangement. I simply bought the album and since it wasn't on RU-vid at that time I decided to upload it. Thanks and keep enjoying :)

never would've guessed this game had such beautiful music

Sacrificial : Sounds like a Old Film Music that plays in a certain scene. Respite : This version build up, like a revelation, it's a very nice evolutin trought the song. Combat Medley : The First song is pure fantasy, the Arena one get more serious, and Mom's Heart theme is amazing. Tomes : Since the original was also made with Pianos, she's still amazing. Serenity Interlude : It feels very... Strange, and simple, like you are trying to learn how to play Piano, and you keep getting better. Binding of Isaac : The best song in the game, become the best song of this compilation when played on Piano. Penance : Like Sacrificial, it have a Old Movie Feel. My Innermost Apocalyspe : While the original song is more violent and powerful, this calm version add more feels to it. Senerity : While the Interlude one was very simple, this one get less simple, and more dreamy.

Every now and then, I just come back here, it's just that good.

I'm a HUGE fan of these arrangements, personally, though I totally understand when people say that it's not to their taste. It kind of reminds me of the Romantic style of music? Er, I have barely studied music at all so that's probably not the right way to describe it @@;; Perhaps someone with music theory experience might be able to talk about it. Oh, but yeah, I love every single one of these tracks, so I guess it lines up perfectly with my musical aesthetic --especially Respite, that one is my favorite, just wow. This is so fantastic, I will definitely be buying this :>

This feels like it should be in a classic survival horror game.

It's a shame. I love the original soundtrack, and I love this. But while I love the variations and creativity and skill here, it is a constant alternation between hit and miss, personally. It just, loses tempo and flow and punch too often, and many a times goes a bit too far in the alternate dissonances and variations. Now, this is just personal feeling; this is AWESOME and I applaud it. It's just, BECAUSE it is so good, I wish the artist was a bit more attuned to my personal tastes in how to build up songs and whatnot. Yes, it's a selfcentered opinion and feeling. What I am trying to say is this: 10/10, like. favourite, lovely, great, awesome. And at the same time, I constantly have this emotion of 'yes. YES. THIS IS IT!' immediately followed by 'damn it, you lost me there' I understand what the artist was trying to convey, but he lost me quite a few times nonetheless. But the fact I am so passionate about this is a great sign :)

Since the soundtrack of original Isaac is really melodic, it sounds surprisingly awesome on piano. Great job, man!

The beginning of the combat medley reminds me of reconstructing science from Portal 2

so, its great! i could not do this, but what i can do i PLAY the game, and i do and its one of my favorites, (even with rebirths music and the originls graphics) but in the music that is playing, i feel at times it sways to far from the original track

I have mixed feelings about this album. It's not bad, but I don't really like it either because I feel like the piano arrangements don't convey that "dark" atmosphere that the original soundtrack creates. Then again, I realize that it is a challenge to arrange this kind of music for piano.

Is it possible to play this on keyboard with a similar sound?

If I could, I would replace the music in game with this. Also, Sacraficial sounds more hopeful your version.

In my opinon it strays to far from the original and the added bits (Like the random Arpeggiation) kinda butchers it...
