I ran the definitive technology BPVX speakers for my surround and rear channels for well over 20 years. They served me well up until I built a new Atmos theater. If you’re not that interested in an Atmos configuration, you will find these to be incredible speakers

I bought these for my rear surrounds because they are located really close to my rear seat. It's only one row and I am about 3 feet away from them and I thought they would work best to disperse the sound and make it more like they are further back. Also wanted room for space to walk behind the row, so putting them up against the wall was a great way to utilize them. I actually got my pair for like 88, and mine is the none ported version. So far it has worked great even though it is not a full deftech bed layer.

They work quite well as surround speakers. I’m still quite satisfied and have no plans on swapping them.

Nice setup! One day I hope Ill have the space for a dedicated theater/listening room. Your space would greatly benefit from in-wall/ceiling speakers without a doubt.

id still love to see some more topaz video’s especially on when upscaling and changing FPS. I keep getting a very smoothed/blurry image but usually only happens when I use the A.i. features if you do it manually through Iris, Artemis, Theia the end result is just a whole lot better.
