They actually paid homage to Cap being in Artist in Captain America First Avenger when you see Steve drawing the monkey after being booed off stage before he learns of Bucky's capture.

James Robinson had a all-new Invaders series few years ago that i really dug. It was really nice seeing Cap, namor, Jim Hammond (the OG Torch) and Bucky back together and acting more liek family than a real team. Also they stormed the Kree home-world Hala to free namor with the help of the original alien Vision and steal back a machine that took control of gods. That was a blast, and the arc ended with the Eternals trying to use it to take over Galactus. Its a shame that Robinson didn't get to do anything with that plot thread.

I love that Cap was taken to a radiohead concert haha. A great band ( that literally has good music), but regardless, this was a cool mark waid cap story that I can't believe I missed this story.

ItsMichaelReid that's a really fair point, but on a smaller scale John's quite literally read define the entire mythos. Brubaker made an entire generation realized why cap leads the avengers

I think the reason Hulk is not on the team is because, in the original continuity and the Earth's Mightiest Heroes cartoon, the Avengers only find Cap frozen because they were searching for the Hulk after Hulk stormed off in anger.

Cap wouldn't really have a problem with communism since they were allies it wasn't until after the war we started having serious anti communist propaganda only very high up officials saw the danger and threat of communism early on like Patton, prime minister Churchill from the uk ect. Maybe cap was but I'm not sure.

I know it may be hard to keep track of all your books since you do so many (and that's awesome!), not to mention it's 2 years old now but.....the back issues for Birthright was done with Tifanny and Ben. I don't know I guess I expected an "Oh yeah!". Wait....are you retconning the Back Issues of Superman Birthright? That's trippy Keep up the good work :)

I like the change whenever you guys do a hero that this Batman, Superman, or Spider-man. Not to say those aren't the best. (I've honestly been watching some of the old JMS Spider-man episodes, and they get some of the most enjoyable reactions.) But random variety is great. Now, time for some classic Image or Wild Strom lol.

That wall of text at the beginning of every South Park episode is how you get around using the likeness of real people like Obama. Though, that mostly covers you from being sued by celebrities. I don't think political figures require the same protection because of a public servant/private citizen split. Plus, imagine the political fallout of a politician bringing a lawsuit because of a parody.
